First time here, came for breakfast on Sunday morning. We knew it would be busy, and we were okay with waiting. We were told it would take 10 to 15 minutes till a table would open up. We waited about 20 minutes before we got seated, and then another 10 minutes before the waitress came to get our orders. She was a little short with us. My husband had ordered the biscuits and gravy and I had the down home omlette. My husband said the biscuits and gravy were good but the sausage in the gravy was very bland. My omlette was very dry, but the ingredients inside were good and seemed fresh. Fresh food for a cheap price. Everything did seem to be made to order so that’s a plus. I just think they need to be a little bit more accurate on the time you might need to wait for a table,

Three of us just ate lunch at Boogies. We had a club sandwich, patty melt and a BLT with sweet potatoe fries, all were absolutely delicious! The service was top notch! Will definitely go back next trip up north.

You need to at least acknowledge the waiting guest. It was like I was invisible. Once acknowledged, though, it got better from there. A quick hello and we’ll be right with you would have been nice. The service after that was good. The food was good. I just had a basic breakfast, and it was perfect. Believe me, a basic breakfast can even go wrong. I’ve been there, done that, won’t happen again. At a different restaurant, I might add. In this town.

We stopped by this place on a Sunday afternoon, it felt like they had a very busy morning and didn’t want us there. Our server gave us the impression she hated her job and wanted to leave as soon as possible. We ordered a salad with fried chicken that looked very good on the menu picture but it was a big disappointment, just lettuce and tomato. Ordered a side of ranch with our order and the server forgot it, since she didn’t come to check on us, we had to ask another server and she forgot as well… we checked on reviews before deciding to stay, we were surprised. It seems like a nice place for locals and I hope we just had very bad luck.

Great breakfast place. I love going here for breakfast fore sure. Deliciously tasteful wonderful pies. Highly recommend for breakfast. Lunch is fairly decent as well. I don’t recommend dinner here. Also quality of food depends on the cook that day. Good food at a fair/decent price. Atmosphere is quaint, but old/outdated. Servers are friendly, but not always the most attentive.

Popped in while on the road in RV, breakfast was great. Husband tried the biscuits and gravy and thought it was 8.5/10. Sounds crazy but the wheat toast was fabulous

The food was delicious and affordable. However, we definitely got the impression that the locals weren’t friendly to outsiders in their restaurant. People openly stared at us and waitstaff helped customers they knew before us even if they came in after we did.

We stopped in our on way driving across CO. We stopped because we love little diners like this appeared to be. We were greeted with “let me see what we have, it’s slim pickins today”. I get that. It’s a small diner and appeared to be busy. She took us to a small table in the back section. Looked at the menu and decided on ordering 2 burgers with fries. We had to be at our next campsite that was about 2 hours away. We had about 45 mins to kill. Needless to say, this place was like “hold my beer”. The waitress brought us water and took our orders. After that, we waited for no less than 30 mins. Kept seeing food come out the window thinking ” this has got to be ours” and it was being taken to people who had been there before us. Should have been the 1st indication. The waitress never came back. Hubby was getting antsy because of the time. We decided to leave. Went up to the front counter and the 15 year old girl up front asked us if anyone had spoken to us. We told her our order was taken about 45 mins ago and we needed to leave. Instead of being apologetic AT ALL, she sneered and told us to “have a nice day”. That was kind of the icing on the cake. I would not recommend this place just as far as the service of the staff goes. Couldn’t tell you about the food. Guess they can’t all be winners.
