Zalate Taqueria is my go to for lunch and dinner. If you haven’t checked this place out you need to. The birria tacos are , pastor and nachos were good as well. They have plenty of great drinks to try as well. The Moscow mules were delicious for an afternoon. Great prices as well. They have a nice outdoor area to eat and inside is well maintained and clean. The sides are really great as well!

Very good place. Excellent food, drinks, and spirits. Tea is homemade, margaritas are made with passion, and the food seems more personalized. Don’t come here thinking this a standard Mexican joint. No fajitas or stuff like that. Inside is loud, but cozy. Outside is nice.

First off street corn was amazing!! Taco shells were very good, I got steak and it was a little dry. Horchata was good but I have had better. One thing i did not care for is if you want extra toppings on your taco you have to pay for it. The only topping you get is onion and cilantro. I will definitely try this place again and sit down, I got my food to go.

We tried it out for taco Tuesday! Food and service was good. It seemed they were understaffed but that’s the new norm. Awesome decor, friendly staff and food was flavorful. The only negative was there was an unpleasant char taste on the hard shells… still edible but very stout. Definitely look forward to returning for the cheese dip and drinks! #supportlocal #eatlocal

I gave 3 stars because it was pricey. Customer service was great. We went around 4:30 on a Tuesday and there was only 2 other people inside, no wait. He had the nachos and I had the steak quesadilla, it was mostly onions and little bits of steak. You don’t get free chips n salsa. It wasn’t bad but probably won’t go back.

I haven’t even paid the check but everything was so good I didn’t want to wait to post my review. Service was fast and friendly, and they had plenty of staff to tend to the 3 tables that all came in at once and the next 3 tables that came in shortly after all had their drinks within minutes of the first wave of us. We ordered shrimp taco, fish taco, fries, street corn (comes in a bowl, so much easier to eat!), and nachos (I substituted chicken instead of pork). Everything was brought out in less than 10 minutes, hot, fresh and properly cooked. Delicious! Husband isn’t picky but I am and my nachos had a good amount of topping (not too many naked chips), the chips were nice and crunchy with good salting and the chicken was as good as I would cook at home. Finished with their homemade flan and it was to die for, very authentic! Absolutely will be back and will be telling all of out friends too. Has 3 flat screens for the games and a cute terrace area as well.

This place is a great find and so close to my house! The Zendejas family have done it again with a great restaurant, with fantastic food, good ambiance, and good people. The tacos are legit Mexican street tacos, the cheese dip is addicting, the burritos are big and hot, and the desserts are delicious. My new addiction is the pork belly, amazing! I will absolutely return regularly, I have already been twice this week… 🙂
