It looks humble on the outside, but the food here is top notch. Great Polish food everytime. Very home cooked feel.

We had our first dining experience at this wonderful little local Polish restaurant in New Britain. My husband and I split the Polish platter, which included a soup or salad (we ordered the sorrel soup), 3 perogi’s, kielbasa, mashed potatoes, stuffed cabbage, hunters stew and a large crispy potato pancake. Everything was amazing! We had never had sorrel soup before and were pleasantly surprised. Portions were generous & this platter was plenty for two of us.

What a great time! I have not had such authentic amazing food like this in many years. Everything was so good! I also must add how wonderful our waitress was. Magdalena was so kind and really took the time to explain and answer questions. She made some great recommendations! I also love that the owner came out and talked to us. It was so sweet. For how good everything was, 5 stars was not enough. Looking forward to go back!!!

I wish I could give this restaurant a 0. Margaret the owner is downright rude. We went into her establishment this weekend and she ignored us then when she finally decided to wait on us to seat us she acted like she looked down upon us for not speaking Polish. For a restaurant on a neighborhoods that is supposed to be so inviting we felt exactly the opposite. The food was cold the service was slow and then when we tried to talk to Margaret she had the nerve to basically blame us. So much for customer service. We asked for take out containers. They never came. We finally just paid the bill and left. For so so food definitely not a place I would go to again. Not to get yelled at by the owner and made to feel less than.

In New Britain we have a large section of the city called Little Poland. There are several businesses that cater to our Polish community and boy is it wonderful. The food was delicious! If you are looking for a Polish Heritage meal, come check this place out! It is a hometown feel and great atmosphere. We had a great time!

I was born and raised Polish – food is way below average. Way too much salt in all food, pierogi were overcooked and falling apart. Quality is also questionable, there was a hair in my daughters food (pic attached). The manager was incredibly rude and disrespectful when I dared to politely ask why I was served half a plate. I was attended to with hatred toward Polish people and was, believe it or not, YELLED at. ( ) Manager/owner claimed Polish customers are the worst. Surely Polish customers must complain often because they see low quality of food and service. All good reviews come from Americans who just haven’t tried any better – you are missing out! Keep away from this place who treats people like garbage. Even if the food was great, which it isn’t, the owners are mistresting people and are extremely rude people. Just read other negative reviews! Please know that the real Polish culture is so much better than this mockup disgusting restaurant.

The only place to go for authentic Polish food and a beer even if it is an hour’s drive away for us. Delicious!

If you haven’t tried Polish food, you have to go to this place. The food is incredible! I love the savory flavors! When my husband and I went, we got the pickle soup and the sample platter so that we could try various things and let me tell you, EVERYTHING was delicious! I will definitely be back and I’ll tell my friends about how great the food is.
