Made a reservation during December holidays for main dining room, when we got there had a table next to kitchen door and and an outside door which was blowing in cold air, asked hostess for table change but couldn’t accommodate, they had to close curtain on door to keep cold breeze out. It was very uncomfortable. Ordered the warm mozzarella and came out cold, we spoke to Mgr and comped us that dish, very nice of him. We had other drink issues but our waiter was great, all the problems we had – he was pretty funny and very attentive so that made the time enjoyable. Good drinks, food was good, we were stuck near kitchen and there was a large obnoxious office party next to us, server had to tell that party to quiet down. Restaurant decorated nicely in main dining room where fireplace was, other room not so much. Parking is a disaster but after circling a few times finally got a spot in front.

We had prix fixe. The food was not that impressive to be honest but for the money I can’t complain. The atmosphere is great but the outside seatings are right off the major road that you are exposed to a lot of noise while eating. The linguine and clam had some sand in it. Their parking lot is relatively small compared to the size of the hall. On one friday night we didn’t find a spot.

Our server Tony was great. Very on point and friendly. Pork osso bucco with Parmesan risotto special was super savory! The Veal Chop Valdostana was a good blend of earthy mushrooms & tender Veal with a hint of prosciutto so as not to overpower the dish. Enjoyed our visit very much.

The food was amazing and our guests were pleased beyond words. My mother recently passed away and we decided to have the repast lunch at Matteo’s of Huntington with 50 guests. And we were not disappointed. On the day of the event, we had a dear brother of ours who is a well-known television personally/event planner go to the restaurant anonymously to ensure that upon our arrival everything was ready; and it was. The staff worked with him and he made certain that the sitting arrangements were to our liking (he will undoubtedly provide his own review at his convenience). To begin with, when we initially booked the venue, which is quite proximal to our home, the chef worked with us to prepare a menu that we would enjoy and our guests would find delectable and appealing to their palates. The food was absolutely delicious; there was plenty of it and the service was top-notched. One of the things that pleased me was their flexibility in allowing us to bring a dish of our own that we made ourselves to honor my mother’s memory and her love for cooking excellent food, as she was an incredible cook. Everyone ate to their heart’s content. We were very satisfied. What mattered to me and my wife the most was to ensure that the food was fresh, delicious, and served with respect. Everything worked out splendidly. There was a great deal of food, drinks, desserts, and our guests left the place smiling and barely able to walk from eating nearly everything. Even the children were happy. I have no doubt that my mother was delighted and gave her blessings from heaven at the level of love, respect we gave her and also received at Matteo’s. We honored her in a manner that she deserves. We will certainly keep Matteo’s in mind for any future events and regular dining.

We chose to have our rehearsal dinner at Matteo’s and we’re so glad we did! We went with the Silver package for our guests which was perfect. Everything was served family style and there was plenty of food. The service was prompt and we always had our wine glasses refilled. Dennis is who we worked with to book this event and he was responsive leading up to the day and ensured during that we had everything we needed while there. He is friendly and professional. The restaurant itself is also so beautiful. Thank you!

My experience dining at Matteo’s was better than my online ordering. This review is for the online services. First, it took me a long time to decide the online system was not working. I prepared my order three times, and it would reject the order because it didn’t accept any of my cards, when all of them were ok. In fact, when it rejected the first one, I got a display saying DONE, but in small letters said that my card was rejected. Somehow I was going to close my PC when I realized my order was not processed. So, I decided to order over the phone. After some hold time, the person took sometime correcting my pronunciation, a pickup order for 6, no dessert, no drinks, was $200. They told me 30-35 minutes, and it might have taken 40, not a big deal. What was a big deal was that some of the food was COLD (I am 3 minutes away from the place, and I picked it up), but they gave me a different food in one of the trays. I might go to the restaurant again, but after 2 poor experiences, will never try online again.

In Matteo’s it was beautiful decor, The food was amazing which was the appetizer entree, and the dessert. The wine was delicious and the waiters (Anthony, The busboys and The rest of the employees were very kind, attentive, respectful and efficient). My family and I will certainly go there again.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at this location and everything from the staff to the food, drinks and decor was outstanding! Our whole entire party of around 50 people could not stop complimenting it all. We even got little tips of love and best wishes from individual team members throughout the night, the staff doesn’t get trained in that and it made it so much more special. Dennis helped us plan the whole evening and he was wonderful to work with. I would not hesitate to host future events with this establishment.
