:: sigh:: I’m really sad to write this but… THESE WERE THE WORST TACOS IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. What’s even more disheartening, is that I’ve lived in New Orleans for a year and never EVER had a bad food experience. Mind you- I have eaten out everyday for almost 365 days. NOLA is known for its always fresh & super tasty foods. These tacos caught me by surprise. I mean clutch pears – surprised. I spent $15 for 3 tacos (no drink included). The tacos itself tasted like the entire thing was deep fried in vegetable oil. The backyard was cute tho & by the reviews it looks like the drinks might be a go. The tacos tho??? NO BUENO.

What can I say I’m a sucker for tacos! The nachos also are a great value. And delicious with lots of real cheese! I always have to get at least one margarita and they are my favorite. The food is not always consistently the same quality but honestly the margaritas are always consistent & that keeps me coming back. Also the location, the people that work there and the vibe.

Tacos that were so sloppy wet they were disintegrated, and I could not pick them up. I don’t know if they just added water to the meat to keep it from drying out or what, but you could literally squeeze a ton of water out of what I was eating. Some of the sauces they had out front had spoiled they were fermenting. If you do decide to eat here stay away from them. I will never come back to this Taco spot ever again. Read my reviews. I eat a lot of tacos, and I’m not going to badmouth a restaurant if they don’t deserve it.

So yummy! This was our last and final dinner while visiting in New Orleans. We didn’t know what to expect but they blew our minds with their delicious, juicy, flavorful tacos. The Nachos were also so so good. We loved the backyard courtyard, the picnic tables are perfect, with the string lights and music, it was just a super chill environment. The service was great, tacos amazing and drinks were also super splendid!

The best fresh watermelon margarita I’ve ever had!! So far I’ve tried the nachos, tacos, enchiladas, burrito, and fresh squeezed juice. Not a bad word to say about any of it! Cute courtyard out back to sit in the shade and enjoy. Variety of fresh hot sauces and salsa. Overall, I would highly recommend trying anything on the menu to go with a fresh Marg and I will continue to eat here over and over again, now that I can walk down the street. ❤️

First time trying Rosalitas. I enjoyed the black bean burrito and salsas but the rest of the food was not very good. Chille relleno, guacamole, chips were disappointing. Nice outdoor seating area.

For $5 per taco, I expected a bit more than just steak and caramelized onions in a corn tortilla. The tacos were overtly sweet which contradicts the claim to be “backyard” tacos. This is disappointing especially when one can go to a taco stand (hello uptown on Earhart across the street from Home Depot) and get a real backyard taco feel for just $10. If I want to pay $15 for 3 tacos, I would go to Liberation Nola down the street (look them up and you’ll understand why their price point is $15). I also got the salad with cotija cheese and cilantro vinaigrette. Don’t even waste your time, seriously. The “cilantro vinaigrette” is basically olive with cilantro and no extra seasoning. I’m a salad woman and I LIVE for a good salad! This one was extremely bland and taste like bagged spring mix before being rinsed. The “vinaigrette” had absolutely no taste nor seasoning. I’m not joking, save your time and go to Liberation. The only positive was the amount of meat. They were generous with the steak.

I ordered taquitos and they tasted like old oil and the meat inside was hard. I also got an order of 2 fish tacosand a side of rice. The fish was not fried long enough and the rice was bland. The tacos are not worth it.
