Stopped in for lunch today. The chips and salsa starter was excellent. The wait staff was very accommodating and very quick. The food prepared quickly and had great flavor. The salsa verde with that tacos was AMAZING. The prices are reasonable and the portions are good. As this was my first time here, I will reserve the 5th star for our next visit.

El Portal is a family own Mexican/Japanese Restaurants, the best In the region; from the chips and salsa they served before the main dish to the original traditional Mexican dishes such as Sopitos, Molcajete, 7 Mares, Birria, Menudo to beef teriyaki, shrimp fried rice and salmon teriyaki! Highly recommended, it is worth deviating from the highway to come and eat the deliciously filling dishes. I recommend ordering one main dish to share if you are not a heavy eater! The restaurant is located in 208 South Topenish Ave, in Toppenish WA.
