Thought I would give it a try while in Sidney recently, in spite of less than favourable recent reviews. Big mistake. Service was attentive when I first arrived…ordered a beer to start and the stuffed mushrooms from the appetizers. The first beer wasn’t working when they tried it (tail end of a keg) so ordered another different. Beer was decent, but mushroom caps were terrible…I ate 3 of the 6 hoping that perhaps they would get better after 2. Not only did they taste poor but were overloaded with cheese, greasy and only lukewarm. When asked how they tasted I was honest and said terrible because without feedback how can one improve. Anyways, once I said this the service was less than attentive and to top it off, they charged me full price for the mushrooms stating that if I had only tried one they could’ve done something about it.

This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired for the prices they charge. We had very poor service. I ordered the jumbo deep fried shrimp and received grilled shrimp. When I explained to the waitress, what I had ordered, and that my order was incorrect she said “Are you sure? I asked, and this is how they told me to punch it in.” I said, well who did you ask because I know what I ordered and this is not it. She replied the manager. I just ended up eating what she brought me. The waitress forgot to bring my salad. Never returned the table to asked if we wanted any other drinks. I was drinking water and my husband had a beer but we had to eat our entire meal without anything because she never returned to the table. She disappeared with my credit card forever when it was time to be pay and the restaurant wasn’t even very busy. I also could hear her being rude to the tables around us.

The food was better than what were already high expectations. The prices are a little high but still realistic & fair due to increasing food prices. The service was excellent and exactly what I hope to receive whenever I dine in.

Went there on a date and it was by far the worst experience. The food was either cold, late (2 hrs) in an almost dead restaurant, the service was basically non existing. Waste of money. Will never return.

Was told the front manager was on vacation and the back of house manager had quit hours prior to our arrival. Food was disgusting ! Waitress did the best she could under the circumstances but money we spent was not worth it and not worth the hour we drove to eat there

My husband and I wanted a nice celebration dinner so we both ordered twin lobsters for 89 each..bread came out 1/2 of it was cold. Salad what a joke, soup was cold..should have left then. Out come losters, quite small. Mashpotatoes cold in middle so had to have remicrowaved, not replaced. 1st Lobster was warm and rubbery no flavor. 2nd either of us could eat it as it tasted like a chemical. We asked to have replaced. They basically said we’ll you ate the one so sorry not sorry. Very upset and will tell the world how bad it is, since they don’t care. We both got very sick in the middle of the night.

Dumplings in soup were not done, and it had too much spice. The restaurant was not busy, but service was very slow. Took over an hour to get our food. Temperature in restaurant was very cold. Menu items were kind of expensive for potion size. Almost $20 per meal or more and that’s not including a drink.
