My wife and I frequent both Meridian locations. This one seems to always have food quality issues. My wife ordered a Caesar salad today and it was so disgusting she couldn’t eat it. The salad was small and drenched in dressing. I always get a sandwich and chips, usually sweet and smoky chicken. They always dollop one little pile of meat in one spot and barely put any of the sauce on it (which is weird because they usually drench everything.) This is true of both locations. They do not understand putting ice in a cup either, when they pour hot tea in it you have no ice left! I just want to make my own drink!!!! You ask for extra ice they pay you no attention. The entire restaurant was filthy all the tables (literally) were dirty and only 4 or 5 tables eating at the time so it wasn’t busy. There was no wait on our food, it came out fast, they just didn’t prepare it well and it’s an ongoing issue. My wife wanted to complain but instead we left and went to eat again at KFC. SADLY it was better! They do not want to put meat on sandwiches either. You pay approx $13-$15 per person for a sandwich and drink and they’re too cheap to give you any food. The “choose 2” is also a rip off its more than a single sandwich and you don’t get a side. Doesnt matter anyway because they wont put meat on anything. My bread is usually 3x bigger than the amount of meat they put on it. They microwave everything to the point its rubbery and hard to chew. I’m done with this place. I spend hundreds of dollars a month here and they get worse every visit…. I can make a sandwich much better and much cheaper at home.

This is the 2nd time I ordered a cup of potato soup and the roast beef dip sandwich and it was awful!!! The soup had too much water in it and the sandwich was too tough and I could not chew the meat because it was like rubber. Customer pay too much money for bad FOOD.

I typically love this location and I am a local. My wife and I came at our most recent visit, and our visit started off with a staff that did not seem happy to be at work. We got the wrong entree which tasted like it had been frozen not long ago. Not a great experience, but I would like to add this location generally is a good experience!

I ordered a Ruben and a Side of Steam Broccoli.. The Ruben meat was good but needed more dressing on it! When I got home to eat The broccoli it had only 3 bites in the container and 2 of them had numerous burnt pieces in it. It wasn’t worth the $3.00 I paid for it.. Will defiantly check it out before leaving the establishment Again!

I really don’t know how to rate my experiences with this location. It has gone downhill over the years. I always have to check my orders for missing pickles that are always left out. Meridian, as a whole, has gone downhill in the customer service market. This time, I specifically asked that pickles be included with my orders; however, yet again, I had to return to the counter to get them. People desire $15/hr for a basic job, but can’t remember to include the pickles in an order. People may say “It’s only pickles; but I say that it’s a matter of principle, and a lack of attention to the simplest of details. If you want a to have a pleasant McAlister’s experience, then I would recommend trying out the one in Brandon, MS. Both locations in Meridian have issues that need addressing.

I’m a huge fan of McAlister’s, but what we were served tonight wasn’t even edible. It’s sad to see this business take such a turn in quality of food and service, as we used to come to this establishment often. Tonight, we ordered our meal curbside. We waited about 10 minutes in the car until we finally went in to get our food to find the staff all standing around with three curbside orders sitting ready to go. This isn’t a big deal, what I have a bigger problem with is the food. My daughters food wasn’t edible. I ordered her a turkey grilled cheese, hers didn’t have turkey on it and the sandwich was literally hard. My meal was disgusting. I don’t know what they put on it, but it had a TERRIBLE taste to it. We ended up eat pb&j’s for dinner.
