Good place for “normal” home cooking kind of food. Nothing remarkable but not bad either. The service was friendly. The meat loaf was just OK. The salad was fresh and crisp. There aren’t a lot of choices in International Falls and this was a good place to stop for normal American food. The sid salad that came with the meatloaf was very large. The soup was chunky and good.

Cook didn’t know how to make an omelette. Hash browns were gross, both burnt and raw at the same time. One of us had ordered over easy eggs which were over cooked. One of the only things cooked right was the toast. Slow service. Terrible first experience. Will not be coming back anytime soon unless drastic changes have happened.

Very good customer service, great food. We eat the cheeseburger and fries and the meat was very tasty and juicy and the fries reminded me my mom’s fries. A truly home made taste. Excellent food, will definitely stop by again.

Fries were overdone and tasted gross. By the time I got them, the other person was almost done eating. The sausages had a skin on them that peeled off- gross, and the pancake wasn’t very good either. Very disappointed.

1+ hour wait for poorly cooked food. Mine was cold on arrival. Bacon in one person’s BLT was nearly raw. Place was empty for the 1/2 hour before our food arrived, so busy wasn’t an excuse. Some of our party’s food was decent, and the place cut the bill in 1/2 (appreciated), so it appears to be a staffing problem.

we have been here for an hour and still have not received our food. Should have read the reviews before we came here…had nothing better to do but check them out with this long of a wait. Hopefully the food is as good as everyone says it is…but is any breakfast food worth a 1 hour wait????

We enjoyed a late breakfast during the week and the service and food was top notch. This classic diner can be hopping during peak meal times, so be prepared to wait. Decent variety of food at a decent price.

Server and food was awesome, but the food took forever to come! They either need a bigger kitchen, more help in the kitchen or both. Will be trying a different place when we come through town next year.
