Came on a Sunday afternoon. Lots of people and at times felt a little hard to move with the tables surrounding ours. Overall it’s a cute place. I ordered a cóctel de camarón and it was extremely disappointing. However someone else at my table ordered a carne asada and I was extremely surprised at the plate. Someone else at my table also ordered the battered shrimp and that was also good. The portions felt very well served. The decorations are also super chic and modern. You can watch as they make the tortillas on the spot. Will return in the future.

I do not often have money to spend on food or going out to restaurants. However, when I come across the frequent restaurant with a sign that says sorry, no public restrooms and, they permit me to use the restroom without ordering, I feel it only right to provide a review. The hostess and the other employees here were very kind, though the uniform heavy makeup is not something I’m a fan of. That’s where the one star down went for service, and the music was so loud that they kept not hearing my voice, which is where the other star went down for the atmosphere. But the five-star review is because they did the right thing, letting a people utilize the restroom.

This was the first time and i’m satisfied with the service and the food. The large plater has a little bit of everything for $80. Alvaro was our server, he did an amazing job, praise, the location wasn’t busy and with that the service was greatly exceeded. Drinks were great. Cleanliness and taste, all the seafood was great. Without tip we were at $48 per person but that also include drinks. I would say give it a try, it’s an americanized seafood version of Mexican food and not Mexican authentic but very delicious twist.

Diner at LaVilla is great! The margaritas were awesome and had so much flavor. The Tacos Gorbernador are a must and the tangy salsa they serve with it brings such awesome flavor to the shrimp and veggies. Took my parents and they will be going without me in the future!

This is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants now! I was there last Friday night 30 minutes before they closed and as someone who works at a restaurant I hate to do that and also worry that the service might not be the best since everyone is ready to close but it was far from that! I had the octopus which was amazing and also a virgin watermelon margarita 10/10. What really blew me away was the service. Everyone was super nice but my server ALVARO is the best server I have had. He was nice, funny and didn’t rush us at all! Even made our food and drinks extra special. I will ask for him every time I come here.

We have been meaning to go here and our 10yr anniversary was a perfect opportunity. We were skeptical that the price was going to be high but small portions because some items didn’t mention any sides. The shrimp tacos only said “this taco” so I had to ask to make sure it was more than 1 taco

I’ve heard great things but didn’t live up to my expectations. Perhaps just an off day. Drinks were quite weak for the price. Three of us and the bill was over $100. Service was great otherwise. Perhaps we will try it again a different time. Parking was easy, close to MAX, a cute plant too!
