Yummy food and drinks, and great service and atmosphere. I absolutely love their sarsparilla! It is so good and comes in a large mug. Lots of variety on the menu. Restaurant is very clean and tables are spaced nicely. The homemade bread items are delicious!

While this place may look like a dump on the outside, it is very nice inside. The atmosphere is great and we were all very excited upon entry. We came around 3:30 on a Saturday. It looked like there was only 1 person working the front, she was bartending, taking orders, and serving drinks and food. We ordered the beer flight, and it took quite a while for her to get it out although at this time we were the only guests outside of a large group that had already been served their entrees. We ordered the Macho Nachos for our appetizer. When they came out they were cold, the melted cheese had hardened. After she served that we were ready to give our entree order but instead the waitress took our menus and thanked us and hoped we enjoyed. The nachos were hardly enough for 2 people to share, let alone our group of 4. She clearly didn’t care whether we stayed or left so we decided to go elsewhere for our dinner.

Love the food! Love the atmosphere! This is a great place to chill and watch live music (and it’s one of the only places in Poky that consistently plays live music). I found their food to be a little pricey, but I did really enjoy it. That said, it’s been a few years since I’ve been, so they might have updated their menu and pricing. This is one of the only places in Southeast Idaho that reminds me of my hometown in Colorado. It has such a nice vibe to it, and I love the brick architecture and decor.

We were visiting Pocatello, running errands and had an amazing lunch here and what a pleasant surprise. Phenomenal beer, great staff and great food. The owner’s story is special and we felt like family. We sat out on the back deck and enjoyed the view of the mountains and trains. If you love trains, there’s nothing like sitting on the back deck and enjoying a beer.

Went there for dinner yesterday. It was delicious! The service was wonderful! The waitress was so nice and helpful! I’ve had recent experiences with some of the other breweries in town and I felt their customer service pales in comparison. I love to support local businesses and definitely appreciate when those local businesses treat their customers well, as we were last night!

Nice place off the beaten path. Portneuf is actually right down the street from the Museum of Clean. Come in and get energized before the museum or come in afterward to relax. Whatever your doing, if your coming through Pocatello, make this a MUST STOP.

We love this place. On a long family trip to Yellowstone, we stopped and stayed in Pocatello for a night. We researched a place to eat that was close and had all the options that the entire family would enjoy. And Portneuf brewing was perfect.
