Had the pleasure of working at the cafe for a service call. It turned into a fairly long day and decided to order subs to take home afterward. First let me just say being behind the scenes at a restaurant is a bit different than being upfront. This place was absolutely immaculate, all of their ingredients and menu items are fresh and homemade. The owners and staff are genuinely nice people who enjoy what they do and it shows! If you haven’t tried the Red Lion Cafe, do yourself a favor and stop in you will not be disappointed!

The food was awesome!!! The homemade pretzel to die for!!!! The cherry crumb pie superb!!!! You must try their zucchini bread❤️ Prices were great! I went a bit overboard, but came back with left overs. I am from California just visiting but I will be back every time I come to town for a visit!!! It is so worth the stop

After searching for awhile for a restaurant in the area that had parking big enough for our truck, it was a nice surprise to find this place! We ordered the Stuffed mishrooms to start and they were fabulous! French Dip and Philly Cheesesteak for lunch and both were very good! Service was great as well. We would definitely return!

A family friendly place off the beaten path. Servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Food arrived quickly and was hot. There was a nice selection of different foods along with daily specials. We were a party of 6 and had a variety of meals – pork chops, seafood, cheese steak (sorry not the best), and turkey with all the fixin’s. They have a bakery with some good looking selections. The atmosphere was open, comfortable and family friendly.

This was our first time at this restaurant and it will not be our last, glad we found it by accident this morning..We had their breakfast and it was the best breakfast we have had in a LONG time, if not the best we have ever had.. wait staff was so friendly and the owner Cheryl was super sweet. 10/10

Today I was in my wife’s home town grabbing a bite of some of her favorite foods. We started with a “California cheese burger” and chased it down with a triple berry cider from the bar. We finished our meal with chocolate cake and peanut butter icing along side cherry crumble. The burger was nicely cooked and we’ll seasoned. The cake had a moist crumb with a rich chocolatey flavor and a think icing that was full peanut flavor. I really liked the crumb on the cherry pie. It was sweet and fine. I would definitely say if you want a break when heading down hwy 81, you should take a 20 to 30 minute detour and grab a great bite. The staff here ramps this one too l a definite 4 out of 5

The place has definitely taken a downward turn. Was the place to go for a great local affordable meal. Is now WAY OVERPRICED. Entrees you are charged for extras which were Normal part of the meal. We do not live in the big city we are a rural community. This restaurant used to draw big crowds, standing in lines on the weekends, not now. Wonder why$$$$$

Red Lion Cafe was an unexpected find on our travels. We stopped for breakfast, it was not terribly busy. We sat down at our booth and were promptly waited on. Our server was cheerful and happy.
