My husband and I enjoyed our first time at Gorilla Sushi. We loved everything the food, the service, and the staff. The food was so delicious, the service was amazing and the staff was very friendly. New to the area but been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Great value for the food quality they offer. Service just gets better each time. They have a warm towel service to start the meal and staff if super friendly and kitchen is fast to the get out your food even with all the delivery app orders that they constantly have. The Salmon teriyaki special is a great value for all that comes with the meal.

My first dine in experience was fantastic. Great variety of appetizers especially for my mom who isn’t a sushi person. The fried calamari was good and I highly recommend the cucumber salad and goyza. Everything was delicious.

Last evening we had food delivered from Gorilla Sushi which I had saw a few across Chicago while I was here. I knew I was not gonna be blown away quality wise because of the price point, but it was actually a fantastic meal that more than filled three of use up for a great price. The special rolls have complimentary flavors and overall was a great experience, which is true because I normally take photos, but devoured through them before I could take a pic.

Awesome sushi! Great sizes for a really good price. The smaller portions allow you to order different rolls you want to try. We ended up ordering 6 between the two of us and sharing all of it. The server was fast and attentive. Will definitely return when we are in the area.

Ordered food for delivery at 7:55pm… at 8:45pm I receive a phone call confirming that I haven’t received my food yet. Then I’m told they’re having a problem with their “system” and the order never went through. Yet I was already charged the $74.99! I have yet to receive a refund as well.

The inside is on the smaller side but the rolls, especially the sweet potato tempura, are fantastic. The tempura is super crunchy and flavorful. Everyone was very nice and the service was fast.

Great food, especially for the price. However, the dining in experience could’ve been better without the terrible, trashy loud music playing. Not an ideal playlist for eating, especially if you have kiddos!
