After reading the reviews, me and my husband decided to give this place a try, since we’re visiting from out of state,it’s a hit or miss even with great reviews, but I must admit, the food was quite delicious, we were greeted by Ebony who was very pleasant from the beginning and very patient as we made our mind on what to eat. I had the Nachos with shredded chicken and my husband had pollo a la parrilla (grilled chicken) the chicken was cooked perfectly and juicy to our surprise, it was also hot and juicy fresh from the grill! Many of the locals seemed to be enjoying their meals as well, Ebony new them by their names. The place was neat. Will absolutely visit again.

Went for lunch and it was quite busy for both dine-in and takeout. Got a table within 15 mins. Food was excellent, I had the vegetarian burrito with rice.and beans along with a beer. Service.was fast and friendly. Kristen and another lady were working and knew all the regulars. Service was excellent and made you feel like family. I would highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. Really authentic food and excellent service, what else can you ask for. This is my new favorite restaurant.

The food was great but the service really lacked. But only seemed to be our server. Other servers were attentive and efficient. But I’m rating our experience specifically and it was lacking. Seated at a dirty table we waited until it finally got wiped. Ignored for the first 5 minutes. She brought chips and salsa no napkins or silverware. Our waitress asked us what we would like to drink. Brought us our drinks then asked what we would like to eat. We told her you haven’t given us the menus yet. In the meantime, we watched others get excellent service. After finally getting menus and ordering, our food came but we had no silverware. As she was walking away we said we don’t have silverware or napkins. Our waitress never checked back with us. However we could hear the other 2 servers asking their costumers how was their food. When we flagged her down for a soda, it was forgotten and we had to flag her down again. Most of the attention we got was from other servers. Ours disappeared for long periods in the back while we saw the others successfully juggling phone orders and dine-in orders without an issue.

Absolutely delicious! Prices are average and reasonable. We use to go to another Mexican restaurant in Vero, BUT they raised their prices so much and didn’t update them on there menu, we decided never again. We were on the hunt for a new Mexican restaurant to eat at. Well we found it! Fish was cooked to perfection and was bigger than we thought it would be. It had a lot of meat on it. Really good portion of rice and beans! Some places are not serving the portion sizes they use to and raising the prices on top of that. We will definitely be eating here often.

Moving from a very diverse area with great food, we’ve been on the hunt for great restaurants in Vero Beach. Tapatío is now our go-to for delicious, authentic Mexican food, not to mention great service. Favorites have been the pollo en mole, mojarra frita, carne asada, carnitas de cerdo and pollo, and the chips and salsa. Thank you!

They get a D…For delicious that is. Service was great and friendly, the food was very good and the prices are reasonable. Had the 2 tacos with rice and beans and she had the veggie chimichanga. The beef in the tacos was seasoned excellently and was larger chunks of ground beef as I would make at home. The chimichanga was reported to be “done” as usually she ends up with a soggy uncrispy one. Not today. She said “probably the best I’ve had”. Will go back and you should probably try it. Take out too. Place is clean.

What a great place to eat. Super good food, small with great service. Only thing bad is that they fill up fast. So get there early, or expect to wait. Would be great to have a bigger location, but maybe that will ruin the quality, so just how it is, is fine.
