I wouldn’t recommend eating here. I read a lot of the reviews before we went and thought it would be worth a try. The service was fine but the food is not good. The crab dip had minimal flavor. The salads that come with the meal are nothing. The crab cakes have a weird seasoning in them that are not good. The broccoli and potatoes that come with the entrees were cold. Overall it’s not good.

We had a very underwhelming experience at the Tidewater Grill. The place is located in a strip mall with VERY limited seating. We were seated on what appeared to be an outside porch with at least 5 fans trying to cool it down. It was very loud to the point that one table asked to be moved.

We went as soon as it opened. I made reservations on Open Table. This was our first time at this establishment. Our server was the only person we saw. However, she did a great job even when it started to get busier. Our food from the app to the main course was delicious. We ordered the calamari for the appetizer. Based on the taste, we knew the food would be good, and we ordered the jumbo crab sandwich and the seafood platter. The food did not disappoint. We will visit again

Brady Burger with egg and bacon was very good (I got without bun). Pesto on chicken sandwich was WEAK and lacked flavor. No seasoning on chicken, VERY bland. Salad was iceberg, uninspired for such an expensive place. Chicken for salad was missing and when it was brought out it was partially RAW and had to be sent back. It was partially BURNT when it came back. Ugh, can’t win! Tea is very good. Onion rings tasted like a frozen product. Chips were OK. Service was decent but we were in a far corner and easily forgotten. Very LOUD restaurant, not unusual but be forewarned. Place is FAR too expensive for the quality. NOT RECOMMENDED. WON’T BE BACK.

Great hideaway. The food was amazing, I had the Fried Green Tomatos, some the best I’ve ever had. The photo is Seafood Raviloni in a Garlic Butter Sauce and my wife had the Lobster Roll. Super fresh and Lobster forward. This will be on our rotation when return.

The staff was really nice, almost too nice if I’m being honest. After every sip of my drink someone was there to top it off. My wife and I quit drinking our sweet tea after the 4th refill in about 6 minutes. They didn’t ask, just did it. Food was no where near worth the price I paid. I got the flounder my wife got the salmon. I ate mine my wife took one bite and stopped trying all together. The chocolate cake looked really good though. I am glad the food scared us too much to try it. After spending $90 on a dinner for 2 with no alcohol I feel like I dodged a bullet.

This was one of the best choices of the week that I spent in Myrtle Beach! The food and service was outstanding! Those in my party that ate steak said they were the best steak and they haven’t eaten in a long time. The calamari was one of a kind very good! You must make reservations for this establishment very much in advance. I called and had to wait a day for a reservation, however the wait was very much worth it! I will be eating at The Establishment when I return for my next vacation!

Driving up to the establishment I was filled with worry. Located in a small strip mall, backing up to a dense swamp, I was not optimistic. Once I entered to building however, a lot changed. The inside was very fancy, with some mood lighting for the ladies. The service was pretty good. The waiters were very quick, however one was quite nervous around me, even tho my 5 9 figure is far from imposing. Once my food arrived, it was quite satisfying. My steak was cooked to perfection, although it was not seasoned enough. The appetizers were also great. The roasted potatoes on the side of the steak were to die for, and the desserts were well worth the purchase. Although some of the prices were straigh highway robbery, especially $16 for some canned lump crab on mushrooms, I didn’t have to pay so I’d consider it worth it. Overall my experience is a 4.3/5. Would recommend.

Went here with my family tonight. Cute little place, great food and drink options, friendly staff, and great service. We had the specials, and they were delicious. They also take reservations, which I’d recommend if you have a bigger party since it is a smaller place. I’d definitely go again!
