Yes, new owner who is also the chef. No more extra pieces in dinners. No more drinks included. That would be fine if everything wasn’t so terrible. The philly cheesesteak is the only thing that’s decent. I spoke to a way-too-honest employee who said the owner doesnt care what the customer thinks. If they like the food, good. If they don’t, then bye bye. The employees even get blamed when customers complain about HIS food. There is almost no seasoning, it’s overcooked half the time, and there is no chance for a refund. This place does MAYBE half the business they used to and there is no way they will be around much longer without change. Simply put. Try a different sam’s.

I used to give them a 5-star rating. Under new management they’ve changed ingredients in some items, thus the quality of food/taste has dropped. So much so that I probably won’t go back. I used to go often, shame it’s changed.

First I paid $45 and my order was incorrect and they redid the order and it had hairsz yes hairs in my poboy… I notified them and they wanted to cook more food but declined to give a refund. At that point I didn’t want you cooking me anything else

We had the family deal- 20 fish, french fries, a large side of green beans and dirty rice- and it was absolutely delicious!Lightly battered fish, well seasoned, crunch with every bite on the outside and moist on the inside. Generous portion size and soft drinks included! Excellent customer service. Highly recommend this place. Give them a try and you will not be disappointed!

Ownership has recently changed and this restaurant did a U-Turn for the worst. Shrimp are half the size they use to be and now the fish is made with a different batter (large rough cornmeal). It use to be fine and flaky. Coleslaw is now in tiny containers. They also lost almost all of the their old staff that was excellent and very friendly. After three years of being a regular customer I will no longer be going back.
