Great experience. They told us it would be a 25 minute wait for a table but it was really less than 10. The spicy pomegranate margarita was fantastic as well as the gyoza. All three of the rolls we got were also delicious and were very large. Decent happy hour specials, even on Friday.

I recently dined here with a couple of friends. I made the reservation for this specific restaurant because of how amazing their sushi is, or was. Three different kinds of sushi was ordered and I have never tasted anything more foul in my life. No one had more than a couple of pieces. No one could even finish their plate. I have had sushi at publixs 100x better than what we had that day. I am extremely disappointed since this was my favorite sushi spot in Mount P. Most likely will not be returning here for a while until they get something figured out. They also removed the Pepper jack roll!! This was hands down my favorite roll there. Super friendly and quick server!

I normally avoid chains for all the obvious reasons, but I was ordering a HUGE amount of takeout sushi for my wife’s birthday and this restaurant had the most competent website. Despite the size of the order (almost 50 different items) and some rather specific order customization, they took the order over the phone with ease. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up the food, everything was ready, expertly packaged, and the order was EXACTLY correct.

We came here are 5:30 on a Saturday. It is sort of small but is cozy and had nice Christmas decorations up. We bought our 3 year old and 6 month old. Our 3 year old got the hibachi from the kids menu. The chicken was very crispy and it came with miso soup. They had crayons and kids chopsticks which was nice. My husband and I got the rice/salmon “pizza” and 2 rolls. The fish was really fresh! Also, they have Happy Hour on the weekend too! We will definitely come back.

Love Fuji. But they need to take care of the customer that is in their restaurant. Their to-go orders are so consuming that it takes 1+ to get our in house sushi. Last time we cancelled our order after 1 hr. Happened again tonight. The take out consumes their chefs, staff, etc. We ordered a simple tuna roll and over 1 hr, we left without it.

Really good sushi and great lunch specials! I had the shrimp and vegetables tempura bento box and it was very plentiful! I couldn’t even eat it all! My husband had the “resolution roll” and really loved it by warns its very spicy! So, if you like heat, go for that one! They’ve always got great specials going. There is a nice outside area to sit and the inside is very cozy with a small bar area. It’s got a great neighborhood feel to it!

Ramen was okay but sashimi/nigiri is severely overpriced for the amount and quality of the fish. it cost me 9 dollars for literally two pieces (a fact I didn’t realize when I ordered it) of mediocre quality salmon. It was fine but there are definitely better places to go

Ok so I do A LOT of Sushi reviews, because I love sushi, and because it’s just UNBELIEVABLE how great the sushi at Mr.Tokyo’s in Charlotte,NC is. Now that I am in Charleston, I keep trying different restaurants in the Hope’s that 1 will come close to the fresh, deliciousness that Mr. Tokyo has MASTERED! Fuji sent out a flyer that said “best Sushi in Charleston!” So I just KNEW I had finally found a local replacement for Mr. Tokyo…#ididnt The sushi was ok…the service was cool…not worth a DRIVE to Mt. P, but if you’re over here and want sushi…it will do.
