Food was ok. My meat was over salted in the Cuban sandwich. Shrimp mofongo was pretty good but lacked flavor. Drinks were good. The prices are high enough that I don’t see myself eating here often.

It is rare to go somewhere where everything is perfect, especially when it’s a new restaurant but Mambo did it! Absolutely perfect! The service, food, ambience, presentation were all outstanding. I’ve dined at some great Caribbean restaurants in NY, South Florida and in the islands and the flavor, freshness, variety were exceptional. I also love seeing a young couple taking the risk to open their own place and living the American dream! I will definitely be eating there often. We sampled the empanadas, ropa vieja, mofongo, flan and others and everything was delicious. Go and enjoy!

I’m so glad they moved into this spot. The dining area looks so great now! We had a wonderful evening with fantastic food. The two people working were so kind and helpful. The passion fruit drink was so great and a must try with your meal. I can’t recommend this place enough. This will be our new special occasion meal spot.

Delicious taste of the Caribbean! Pureed yucca was great! 3 kids, everybody loved their food. Two kids split the steak.

Sooooo good! Our group got a bunch of different things and they were all amazing. The chef and owner came out to talk to us and he was so kind and has clearly put his heart into this place: the food and the atmosphere. Will definitely be going back.

We went to family dinner at Mambo the night before our wedding. The food and service were fantastic. They were incredibly accommodating to our group of 20. My wife and her family are Dominican and all loved the authentic food as well.

Such an delicious and unique place to eat!!! So good and couldn’t decide what to get. We need to come back for sure. Loved what we got- the Asopao de Camarones and Pernil. The food was fresh and so flavorful. And the owners were so kind and sweet.

The owners were great, very helpful and informative. My dish was fresh and the sauce was very flavorful with great harmony. Very cute atmosphere. Prices are comparable with what is in the area. Would be a great date night. Would of given 5 but plantains are not my favorite, but they made them better than I’ve had.

The food was absolutely amazing!! Great atmosphere, the woman who waited on us was so attentive, and the portion sizes are plenty! Easily a new favorite spot. You’re missing out if you haven’t tried them yet! I got the pernil (slow roasted pork) and it’s easily the best I’ve ever had. The empanadas are also incredible! Already looking forward to going back.
