Just outside Colorado Springs (Palmer Lake) is a hidden Gem of Italian ambiance and flavors. I was so impress with the level of service and attention not only by the staff but from ownership (Imran) as well. If you want an intimate Italian restaurant outside of the commercial blah Italian food in Colorado springs there is no better place than Bella Panini. BTW I had the best Vegetable Lasagna, in fact it was so good I went back later that week!

A lovely experience at Bella Panini last night for a belated Valentines celebration with my mom. Our waitress was wonderful and never hesitated to provide a recommendation, plus came around countless times to top off water and fill our wine glasses with the pitcher we had already bought, a nice touch!

I’m a 25 year resident of Palmer Lake but I rarely eat at this restaurant because I’m not a pizza fan. Last night my daughter and I ordered to go for the thin crust Greek pizza and salads. We were first told the order would take 25 minutes. They then called back and said it would take another 10-no problem. We showed up at the adjusted time and were told it would be another 10 minutes, so we drove around town for that that time. My daughter went back in and was ignored by the staff, taking order calls and ignored by the other wait staff. Once the counter person got off the phone, she finally waited on my daughter. You guessed it, the pizza was stone cold. I was glad my daughter chose to not tip. She was a waitress in college and usually tips generously. I don’t have any reason to return, but I can recommend Sasquatch & Yeti Mexican restaurant further north on105 next to the post office. The Rose across the street is very good too.

Found this little charming restaurant tonight. The food was amazing. I had the Tuscan Chicken and my husband had the lasagna. The service was wonderful. We even had a visit from the owner. Highly recommend.

If you are in Palmer Lake, please do yourself a favor and eat here at Bella Panini ! We tried the stuffed pasta and parmesan Chicken and it was SO GOOOD! The owners know what they are doing! We also ordered the Tiramisu and OMG it was delicious!

Made reservations for Friday 04 Aug as in the past reservations were needed. Not any more!! Must have new owners who are struggling to keep staff and cooks. We waited 15 mins to receive water, another 10 for the waitress to come back to take our order. We waited an hour before our food was served. It was NOT what we had ordered, but by that time we just needed to have more than hard bread and water. Won’t be going back. Very disappointing.
