Not amazing. The refried beans were super runny, and the temperature of our meals was not great…pretty like warm. The carne Asada fries were a great idea, but parts were downright cold. We like our Mex…this just wasn’t that amazing.

El Mex restaurant truly deserves a 5-star review! The service was top-notch, and the food was absolutely delicious. What a pleasant surprise to find that my Fajitas already came with mushrooms, saving me the trouble of asking for them. The queso dip was a creamy delight with the perfect cheesy consistency and flavor. As for the shrimp cocktail, my wife, who’s a connoisseur, declared it the best and most flavorful she’s ever had. Bravo to El Mex for consistently delivering such a fantastic dining experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Came in during lunch time. Really didn’t care for our waiter. He acted as if he didn’t want to really serve. He was so unfriendly. One of the main reasons I rated a 4. Other than that, the manager guy who we paid at the end was very pleasant and friendly… The food was delicious and well worth the cost. I will definitely try this place again. Just during dinner time so as to avoid Mr. Sour Pants waiter!!!

Ordered food to go, get home and realized they forgot the ultimate nachos we ordered. Call back up there and was told we had to come get them because they won’t reimburse the card used to pay for everything. Get back home from the second trip, opened the nachos up to eat and realized the ultimate nachos are just meat and nachos. That’s it.

Husband ordered nachos supreme and asked for chicken. I had chicken burrito with a side of rice with cheese. His food came out with beef, they forgot my rice. Notified waitress. Finally brought his back out after a bit of a wait but it wasn’t made right and his chicken was cold. Still had to wait 10 minutes for a plate of rice with No cheese so they took it back and brought it out 5 additional minutes later but it was cold as well. First visit was extremely disappointing and probably won’t be back.

Ate here 7/1/23. Both my wife and I are sick from the food. Bad enough, but it wasn’t good either. Bland, almost tasteless arroz con pollo and enchiladas. Avoid at all costs!!

The ambiance in the restaurant is really nice, and very rad. I love the cheese filled Poblanos!! Service is amazing, too. This is a favorite lunch spot.
