Was craving some good down-home southern cooking, and this hit the spot! We had the giant Bavarian pretzel, and I had the bourbon glazed pork chop with mashed potatoes and gravy and baked beans. It absolutely hit the spot. Brian was our server and he was the best. Seriously, best service we have had at a restaurant around here in a while. Maybe ever! We left our to-go plate at our table and he walked it out to our car for us! This place is a new favorite of mine for sure.

Food was bland and/or overcooked. My wife’s drink was so bad, she couldn’t drink it. I’m thinking we caught the restaurant on a bad day because we’ve heard good things. However, our experience was bad enough that we won’t be trying them anytime soon.

Food is always quite good… however the score is not worth 5 stars the sun shining through the westerly door is blinding to the customer(s) sitting near the bar area….Have mentioned this several times to staff… and cannot get a manager or owner name to contact. No concern whatsoever for the customer. The cure to this simple issue is merely install a blind over the door which they refuse to do!

Friendly, tasty, welcoming and generous is what you find at Sportsman’s Grille. The food is on spot which makes it difficult to decide is the food the best or the service and atmosphere? I believe it’s a tie! So if you need a place to relax, grab a beer or enjoy a tasty bit then look no where else and enjoy Sportsman’s Grille!

I love this spot! We used to go to the Vandy location for 20 years before it closed. I miss Brad! He was the man! I need some dry rub wings on special at happy hour for 5 bucks. Ginormous basket. No better deal in Nashville on wings (back in the day) my baby momma used to work at this location here off of 100 and Harding….I worked at A 1 appliance delivering rich folks there appliances across the street.

I had the wings which were ok but the place is a dump. I had to try 4 chairs before I found one that wasn’t rickety. The carpet is absolutely disgusting. The mirrors on the walls in the booths have a 20 year old layer of filth on them. I noticed a huge dead cockroach on the threshold of the bathroom. These were just some of my observations.
