Part of the Cliffrose hotel. So much to comment on. From burgers and fries to delicate lamb chops. Kid friendly options and seating with ambient natural lighting all around. The views are breathtaking. Outside dining at its finest. Just wish they had misters for the heat. The food is delicious! Save room for dessert it’s totally worth it.

We stopped by here after big hiking at Angels landing. The food here was good with big portion. We really liked the basil berry salad and the quinoa avocado. The place was refreshing. It’s next to a resort so very convenient to whoever stays here. The location is also very close to the Zion visitor center. The service was also nice.

We went for our dinner after getting engaged. The restaurant knew this and “put a note down” and there wasn’t even a congratulations. The salad and appetizer were pitiful and the entree was average at best. The menu hadn’t been updated since they changed it. The server did the best he could, but the kitchen was no help. These are fine dining prices that don’t equal the experience.

The food at Anthera was great! And the staff and service were awesome! We were surprised by the very large portions of food we were served, but it was nice to be able to share it with others at the table. We ordered the Cajun Pasta (the dish doesn’t come with all that black pepper… it was my own doing, lol), Cajun Fries, and their Cajun Gyro (I think that’s what it is, and it’s not pictured). Again, all were delicious!

The waiters had a smile on their face and were kind, but are not capable of serving customers in time. I waited about an hour for my food…and the beet salad contained a little too much pecan nuts! I would say their bag of pecans tore and spilled probably nearly the whole bag 🙂

This place has beautiful views! Don’t miss this. We were too tired and hungry after the Narrows hike. It was heat wave day so we were exhausted. This place was cool, peaceful to relax after the hectic day. Ordered Quinoa stuffed avacado, Anthera burger with Veggie patty and Cajun fries. Cajun fries are nothing but potato wedges. Few off them were too big and tasted half-cooked. The stuffed avocado was yum! But the burger was not great. It was just a patty and veggies (tomato, lettuce & cheese) kept between two cold buns. I suggest trying any of the salads if you are a vegetarian. Loved the free chips and salsa. The service was great. It is expensive comparatively.

We stayed at the Cliffrose and enjoyed eating at Anthera two of the three nights we were in Springdale. The food and cocktails were very good, but the location, ambiance and live music made both evenings very memorable.

Food/drinks were great, waitress was extremely nice and helpful. The hostess on the other hand made us want to leave 30 seconds after walking in the door. She was immediately defensive stating they had two large groups and were “closed” and thus could not seat us despite us having a reservation which was made prior to this day. After explaining their group situation she then berated us for being 7 minutes late (2 of which were due to her) for our reservation. The reservation? 30 minutes before the large group was to be seated. This joke of a hostess should not be employed at this restaurant. It is sickening knowing this hostess is the representation of the restaurant and the otherwise hardworking staff that surround her. She is rude and honestly incompetent for an establishment of this magnitude. I would even say she is unqualified for the chain sandwich shop down the street. Would happily revisit if different hostess.
