The space is contemporary and fun with fantastic service. Every single dish was incredible and mixed drinks were exciting. Our serve, Isabel made the experience even more lovely.

My girlfriends and I went to Eau Tour in the Rice Village for Houston Restaurant Week. The place is nice with a great ambiance. The waiters are very attentive! They checked on us often to make sure we were happy with our drinks and food. The restaurant is housed in a building with a few other concepts, such as Lee’s Den and Local Foods (which we were given a small bag of granola type-mixed nuts as a parting treat). Also to note, entering Eau Tour requires going up a short flight of stairs…

A little gem of a place I found accidentally when searching for new eateries in the area. Very surprised with this find and was very nice. I visited in July 2023 and it was only open a few months. The ambiance is perfect. Very retro. The service is fantastic. The staff was attentive, the dishes just right. Ample parking in the area with a ramp across the street. It is upstairs in location context, above the Local. I definitely recommend this place and recommend reservations as it does get busy. There is a covered patio section but with the heat likely not a place to chill. The bar is nice and comfortable.

We had a great time here. Great ambiance and solid food – we liked most of the hors d’oeuvres but I liked the chicken liver mousse the most. We also got the kampachi crudo, broiled oysters, steak tartare, and dumplings.

Eau Tour … was mid. My fiancée and I ordered the dumplings and Scallop crudo for appetizers. Dumpling was liking an acid for me. The sour cream that I was on should be more tart. The temperature was off. But if it was offered to me, I would definitely eat it as it’s still overall pleasing. Would I order it again and pay for it.. probably not. The scallop crudo was the best that we tasted. Everything was perfect , sweet , salty, tart, herby. Recommend!

We wanted to try a new spot and decided on this. Great choice. At the time they had been open only 4 months, but it felt like a well oiled machine with the service. The parking was kind of a pain, the parking lot’s spots were so tight. But the service was amazing, it felt like we were topped off on water after every sip.

Another genius concept from Benjy! My wife and I enjoyed the loveliest date night here to celebrate my 36th bday. The retro decor alone is so detailed and inspiring. The ambiance of the restaurant is fun and casual but still flaunts that cool Houston inner city vibe where you can dress nice if you’re going out after dinner. The service was excellent. Our server had a few jokes up his sleeve so haha’d a couple times. For drinks, we ordered the Left Handed Hook. It’s a delicious, frothy, pina colada type drink I ordered for myself but my wife ended up only letting me have a couple sips cuz she drank most of it. She says it was delicious! I ordered my favorite beer, a Lone Pint IPA – really one of the best beers out there. For appetizers, we ordered the dumplings. YOU HAVE TO GET THESE DUMPLINGS! Go now and get some. Don’t share. Just order one for yourself to enjoy. These dumplings with the charred cabbage and creme freshe are Perfect. Capital P. The duck cheeseburger is the best burger in town. I can confidently say that. Try it and your burger standards will be raised. The bone-in pork chop is huge and my wife loved that tasty, pounded meat! For dessert, we got the creme brulee with berries. It was so smooth and delectable, I wanted to sing All of Me by John Legend to every single bite. This place deserves every star in the sky! We can’t wait to go back and try more menu items!

Cute spot connected to Lee’s Den, which makes it perfect for a progressive dinner! I removed 2 stars for these reasons:

Delightful experience. So happy to have this new addition to the restaurant collection in Rice Village. The food was amazing and the service was absolutely outstanding. We tried the mushroom empanadas, leek salad, the trout, the pork Milanese, the scallop, Crudo, and the greens as well as the chocolate mousse and crème brûlée and they were all phenomenal.

Had a fantastic experience at Eau Tour. The service, cocktails, and food were all on point. We had a large party and tried most of the menu while sharing family style. It’s hard to choose a favorite dish but the fried snapper, mushroom & raclette dumplings, tuna tartare, and lobster omelet would be strong contenders. But save room for dessert! We will definitely be coming back.
