If you are in the area you should stop and check this little place out. The woman who owns and operates the store is super nice. The pastries, muffins and, desserts are amazing and she makes them fresh daily. My favorite are the home-made poptarts. They have sandwiches and other food you can order as well. For drinks they have all different types of bottled beverages including alcohol.

Tried them out for the first time today. Super hearty buffalo chicken sandwich! I was not disappointed! Friendly and professional crew.

The absolute best place to grab a sandwich in the area! New ownership and they were so so so friendly! This place can usually be a little crazy sometimes but they can definitely handle it so well. I recommend the gobbler sandwich, it is so tasty and made with fresh roasted turkey (no deli!) Thank you so much Sandy! You made my whole day

Since this opened as the little river store the food served here has been out of this world delicious. Sandwiches are tasty. Fries are fresh and perfect. The bakery is unbelievable. This quality doesn’t come cheap but it is worth every penny.

Apple caramel tart and huge chocolate muffin were great. Homemade lemonade was neither sweet nor sour but oddly bitter. Just a bad batch maybe?

I stayed nearby for a conference and this little cafe was great! I came by for breakfast and to read for a bit. They have outdoor seating, the coffee and food were good, and the service was quick!

I stopped at Little River today—got the most AWESOME doughnuts!!! Everyone was so nice-my niece was leaving for her late afternoon flight back home snd owner heard us and gave her a doughnut for the flight!! So nice!! I picked up Pastichio for dinner and I will let you know how it is -huge portion for a reasonable price!! Can’t wait!!

Wow we’ve lived in Ipswich for 20 years and just discovered this place. It was awesome and we certainly will be going back. The soup was delicious and the muffins are out of this world.

Based on my past positive experiences this is a review of the store on a really bad day. A Thursday, around 1PM, thinking I’ve missed the brunt of the lunch crowd, I head in for two sandwiches. Immediately I could tell something was off. I never saw that many people waiting inside for their order since the new ownership took over. An unfamiliar, but friendly, face taking orders. Out of Tuna Salad, no big deal. But more than 30 confusing minutes later I finally get my two sandwiches to go, and a complimentary cookie for my troubles. I would have left it at that, called it a tough day and moved on but worse was still ahead. The most awful chicken parmesan sub I’ve ever had. Burnt, overcooked and stringy chicken, cheese stuck to the foil and impossible to scrape off. Yikes. 3 stars because I know this had to be an unusually bad day due to understaffing or something. I’m a disappointed fan and they need to have a better fallback plan in place for when people are out or whatever the issue was that day.

They can’t seem to keep regular hours- I tried to go four different times but they just closed up for no reason. Not an easy effort for a seasonal resident.
