Great barbecue at very reasonable prices. I got a brisket plate, and the brisket was very tender with just enough smoke and seasoning at half the price of what many places charge for brisket. The staff was very friendly as well. I would be a regular here if only I lived closer to Fayette.

Traveling through and got a local recommendation to try sam’s. I’m so glad I did!! I usually don’t like smoked BBQ because it’s too smokey or tough from overcooking. However, sam’s was right on point! It is honestly the best smoked BBQ I’ve ever had. Got the ribs and wings combo with 2 sides. Very filling. I prefer baby back ribs, but these style were the best I’ve had. Very tender and juicy, even the bites that looked tough were tender and delicious. Wings were also tender and lots of flavor. Recommend the miles sauce and cheese tot things. Staff was full of very kind and helpful ladies. Such a great experience and I’ll be sure to return when I can.

I ordered the smoked wings and fried crawfish tails. It was very good. I wanted to order boiled crawdads but can only buy by the bag, and it was $50. Can’t get it by the pound.

First time and probably my last time eating here. Did a call in order. The food was ready for pick up. The staff was very friendly. I got two Brisket sandwiche plates. I think it was actually pot roast. The meat was stringy and looked like it was boiled. It had no smoke flavor at all. I’ve never had stringy brisket before now. Plus no smoke ring at all. As I said it looked and tasted boiled pot rost.

My first visit to Sam’s is also my last. I visited Fayette for my nephew’s wedding ceremony and told him the meal was on me, wherever he wanted to eat. Though my nephew and his fiancée had never eaten at Sam’s in their few months since moving to Fayette, they had apparently heard the food was good and wanted to try it. We placed our order and waited and waited and waited. (It was a takeout order due to upcoming meeting with the priest at the church) I finally went to sit in the car and saw people come in and go out but not my group. They finally came out with the plates, we completed the marriage details, then went home to eat.
