Orion is our go-to sushi spot since moving to Lakewood. Everything tastes delicious and fresh. Their sushi is amazing but I really like their miso soup. Warms your soul. The restaurant is a little small for as many customers they have, but if you don’t feel like dealing with people they’re on DoorDash!

Dinner was very tasty. Recommend the spicy edamame as an appetizer. Shriek roll, ninja roll, Hawaiian roll, Philadelphia roll & golden. The favorite was the ninja which had soft shell crab. The salmon nigiri was delicious as well.

First time here during lunch with my sister and based on the reviews itself we wanted to try it out. But in my opinion I felt like the food and experience didn’t stand up to par with most of the reviews posted on here. Two servers and one sushi chef….I have never been to a sushi restaurant with less than two sushi chefs and the reason why is to keep up with the orders being taken. It got to the point where the one sushi chef got overwhelmed and a server had to go back and help make the orders. The service was ok, didn’t feel like it was amazing since the greeting point was like a hi, bye type feeling. The food was priced ok for some of their specialty rolls but the sushi/sashimi for 2pcs an order was expensive. 2pcs was about $7-$21 depending on what you ordered. I’ve been to places where you can order good quality sushi rolls for $21 and it was rolls with toro in it or even lobster. For the price of 2pcs Orion was charging for, I could’ve gotten 4pcs at other sushi restaurants. Sushi rolls we ordered as well was tasting more like the sauce then the actual fish we were eating. Unfortunate because I’m paying to be able to eat and taste the fish I’m eating not drown in sauce. Preparation of the food was done well but I probably won’t be coming back anytime soon. But if they had been more preppy from the start and had help preparing the orders rather than have one sushi chef alone doing all the order everything would’ve probably been better.

My friend took me here because we’re both vegan and there were so many options! It was so delicious and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant was beautiful, sparklingly clean, and very modern. My friend’s husband had the muscles and he arrested they were great. The food was plated beautifully, it was really a dining experience.

The most important thing is that they served quality sushi and could tell they were serious about the quality of their food. The prices were very reasonable and had many options for the budget spender or the high roller. It was operated by a talented and friendly staff. It stood out that the server was observing our needs every time he passed by. He was eager to answer questions and take care of the customers needs. This was impressive, because he had quite a few tables to tend to. I was not expecting this from what appeared to be a hole in the wall sushi place. I am eager to return and see what else they have to offer. After a few visits the quality and care for service and food have surpassed my expectations. I am pretty picky about food especially sushi…yet this establishment has given me no complaints. Well done Orion Sushi.

Swift friendly service combined with lovey presentation and delicious food equals a perfect score. Orion sushi was a wonderful experience! My wife and I went for a date to remember here. We ordered tempura shrimp which were fried beautifully. Our main course consisted of the Hawaiian roll, Orion Signature, Firecracker and Rainbow. All of them were delightful. Highly recommend Orion Sushi.

Friendly service and great food! We tried the miso and yellowtail jalapeño starter (not pictured), the house sashimi platter, squid nigiri, the Kobe beef roll, negihamachi roll, and hako sushi roll. It all came out to about $115 with two beverages as well. Happy with the quality, taste, and assembly of everything! Will definitely return for more!

This is a great place to get good sushi at a good price. The atmosphere was great. they have a few TV’s and some nice pictures. The service was great and quick. The food is really good and priced affordable. If you are in the area you should give them a try.
