I have never had a really good cheap double cheeseburger in my life until I found Chips. The burger was outstandingly tasty and affordable. The place reminds me of one of those old fast food restaurants in the past and made me feel nostalgic in a good way. After a good meal I wanted to try their soft serve ice cream cone. That was probably the best part after my meal. It was very creamy, had a great vanilla taste, and had a nice presentation when it was given. Sadly, I’m not originally from Wisconsin, but if I were to visit the city of Marshfield again I would definitely grab a bite at chips when I get the chance.

Classic little burger joint serving up deliciously indulgent burgers, hot beef, hot ham, crinkle fries and fried chicken sandwiches. I absolutely love these places that have stayed in business for generations because the locals recognize a great deal on quality recipes. Ordered a doule 1/2 biggie curds onion rings, and a root beer float burgers were un cooked when brought to there attention all they asked if i wanted my money back. No sorry about that what can we do to fix it. Hope you dont get sick. Nothing. Very disappointed I’ve ate at chips since i was a kid and for that lack of caring is upsetting.

While the food was good, the guy that took our order was very rude. We’re from out of town and we’re placing a large order. I ordered a number 12, told him what I wanted on my burger then that I wanted a large fry and drink, he sighed loudly the started pushing the buttons angrily. He then said in an irritated voice “tell me what size you need then the combo number”. I said “I’m sorry. I’ve never been here before”. He continued to be rude the rest of the time he helped us. Then one of the girls filling our order dropped one of the burgers on the floor. She told the guy making the burgers that she needed another one since she dropped it. He started asking how it landed and did it open up. The girl stood her ground and said she needed a new burger since it fell on the gloor so he made a new one. I was just appalled that one of the people making the food would be ok sending out food that had fallen on the floor.

Maybe it was just an off day, but I’ve had sooo much better from them in past experience. Even though it was lunch rush, fries were soggy and cold. Burger was extra sloppy.

Stick to Hamburgers- we tried the grilled chicken sandwich (microwaved to perfection ) and the large hot beef sandwich( 5 slices of slimy imitation Arby’s for $10.) French fries were decent but overall disappointing.
