Nice spot with a very affordable menu. We got a Coney Island dog, cheese dog, BEG dog, and bbq bacon dog plus a plain hot dog. All were really good choices. And French fries with cheese. Good fries with quality like fresh cut fries. Only two spots out front to Park according to the sign by the curb.

The Dog House is an unrivaled local spot if hot dogs is what you’re craving. All sorts of fun combos of toppings, but you absolutely CANNOT beat the Berks County dog. Staff is friendly, and the whole place has a wonderful time capsule vibe to it. If you’re stopping through the area, you won’t find another hot dog place that even approaches the Dog House. If you’re a local… you’ve already got your regular order.

If you like Coney Island Hotdogs and burgers than this is the place for you. I’ve loved their food for as long as I can remember. I grew up in this area and The Dog House has always been here and the food has remained the same. ALWAYS THE BEST DOGS AND BURGERS with tons of toppings but you really have to get the Burgers and dogs coney island style. I don’t know of anyone that doesn’t love the dog house except for people that don’t have taste buds. Lol…..the prices are great and there is nothing better than great food for a great price, but even if you don’t like all those types of toppings, just and regular burger or hot dog works too. The Dog House definitely won’t disappoint you.

What an awesome little place to have dinner. They have a great menu and great local sources products. I had a Berks dog with cheese, bacon, and scrapple and a cony island dog with cheese,chili, and onions. The fries look hand cut. This is a definite stop if you are in Shillington.

Absolutely horrible customer service, I would not recommend anyone try to call and order a meal for yourself as whomever picked up the phone clearly has a lack of social along as communicational awareness. I believe it sounded mad to him that 4 hot dogs were being order at the total of $20 dollars, so clearly as a new customer I obviously know that I should always go into order, hopefully the sarcasm picks up. Anyway, I like to think monkey’s would have better communication skills but then that man would be out of a job. Sorry berks love the dogs.
