Came out to purchase a membership for Sombero Festival and decided to stay and eat. This time around, service was so much better. No problem getting menus or drinks. Food came out at a reasonable time and was a nice day out to enjoy eating outside. I was really impressed with their jalapeno bomber. It had chorizo with cream cheese. Definitely a good size portion.

Edit. Sadly, arriving just in time for brunch (20 minutes before 3pm), my whole party was denied brunch because they, “close the kitchen for brunch 10 minutes before 3pm”… after pointing out the obvious, that it was 20 minutes, not 10, we were still turned away for the brunch. Please, management, either change the times or include a disclaimer that you may be denied brunch service. This is the 2nd 1 star rating I’ve ever had to give. We tried to reason, but the host was very firm. I don’t know if I’ll be returning, although the food is wonderful.

The service was great. The food was delicious. The server made a mistake with our bill but quickly fixed it. We sat outside and listened to some live jazz music by A Train. It was our first time out there and it was a great experience. We’ll be back!

We were a group of 5, I had the nachos with fajitas and honestly the beans and fajitas used were blan to the taste, it had no flavor, but no one else complained about the taste of their food. However, two in my group ordered margaritas and after a few mins the waiter comes back to say the bartender was not in so no drinks could be made. I ordered sweet tea, and was specific to say if it is sweet tea and not unsweet…but the waiter comes back and leaves an unsweetened tea with a side of sweetners. One of my friends ordered a coke and she got a Pepsi, and the other ordered a diet coke and got Dr. Pepper. It would have been best that the waiter just be up front and say they don’t have the products instead of bringing something else to his liking.

Very disappointed with the service I received. Went for lunch, and we ordered our drinks and got them fairly quick. After that, it went downhill. We ordered a Fettucine Alfredo, Gucamole Bowl, and Antojitos Plate. After 45 minutes, I asked the server if he could at least bring the guacamole so we could snack on something while we waited for the food (he didn’t bring it). We got the fettucine about 45 minutes after we got there. An hour in, we still hadn’t received the rest of the food. To make it worse, another table that showed up after us got their meals before us. I understand that some restaurants are short staffed, but when the server doesn’t even come to your table to offer refills on the drinks or at least give an update on when the food will come out, it’s extremely upsetting. I ended up cancelling the order and asking for the check.

This is a nice place located right in the center of the city where you can eat, drink, and even run errands next door at the mall before (or after with a buzz to make it fun lol). They stay open late and have yummy margaritas. Live bands play in the outside seating area.

I went during the evening for dinner for the first time, Food lacked flavor, street tacos overpriced for the RGV. Food looks good but doesn’t taste as good as it looks. The restrooms are extremely dirty.
