Some of the best sushi in Virginia Beach! We just went there tonight for take out and the order was ready right on time. Because of the pandemic, they’re not allowing anyone inside the building, but they were all set up at the door to take our names and payments. We waited out front with a few other people and shortly after arriving were able to get our food! I was a little nervous because sometimes take out isn’t as good, but this was the same quality you’d get if you sat inside! Highly recommend.

Went here on vacation and exclusively ate off the vegetarian menu. EVERYTHING was good – specifically the peanut and eel sauce roll. Portion sizes were a bit smaller than what you might be used to, but the prices were reasonable and it was delicious. If you’re nearby, absolutely give it a try.

i’m only giving it 2 stars because the customer service was good and the hibachi portion size was good but the food was very bland. i had to use so much soy sauce and yum yum sauce to make it taste better. the “fried” rice was NASTY and it only had two pieces of corn in it? i never had fried rice with corn in it but it was so nasty there was no flavor at all! i got the chicken & shrimp hibachi and they weren’t that seasoned either, the teriyaki sauce and yum yum sauce saved it. our server was new but he was nice 🙂

The food was SOOOOO good. The waitress was busting her butt. She was doing the bar take out and 7 tables. Yet the service was still great. So nice and sweet to my 2 year old which is always a challenge to take a toddler out to dinner. She loved the noodles !!!

Volcano has a nice, relaxing atmosphere! Fresh and tasty food. The rolls are marked as spicy, raw and cooked so you can choose what you have a taste for. Their Twin Tower roll is one of my favorites. It’s built around long, crunchy tempura shrimp. The Bento box is a good choice to sample several items. It comes with miso soup, white or fried rice and salad.
