This has to be one of the best fish fries I’ve ever eaten. Came with a half a lemon slice, nice sauce, hot sauce over salad and the salad had pickles and all kinds of lovely dressing on it. What a wonderful meal! Thank you!

This has to be one of the hardest reviews I’ve had the displeasure to give. The reason is that the owner and operators were super friendly and nice people. I do not want to hurt their business, however – the food does not match the kind nature of the folks working at the place. The Shawerma was very dry and the general atmosphere was pretty lacking – even for a strip mall joint. Perhaps the food we received was an anomaly, so maybe judge for yourself by going there and giving it a try.

Love it for lunch or dinner. Super quick service, incredibly delicious shawarma. 10/10 will be there again, probably soon

Walked in around 830pm and ordered 2 shawarma wrap combos 2 go. The parking lot was busy and there were several people waiting on orders or picking up, so i had high hopes! The order was ready faster than quoted, but was ultimately disappointed in the wrap itself. Not enough sauce, or flavor in the chicken. The fries were good, but that’s not hard to do. Willing to try again and order the shawarma platter. The place looked pretty disheveled, not like the clean pic that comes up on Google.

This place has the absolute best chicken shawarma in Buffalo, AND the best garlic sauce. I order from here weekly and would be lost without my regular chicken shawarma lunches. The owner is super kind and friendly. I couldn’t make any higher recommendation. I hope this place NEVER closes, I truly would cry!

Doesn’t look great on the outside but inside is much nicer, and the food was great. They have kids meals which consist of chicken tenders and your choice of salad, rice or fries. Everything was great

Honestly, I thought that the food was pretty decent. Some sandwiches are better than other sandwiches. The store definitely needs some care and attention though. But good overall

Shawarma City is my favourite go-to delivery option. I always get the hummus and baba ghanouj which comes fresh, and moist unlike most that seem stiff/dry. I scoop it right out with a warm pita, and could almost drown in how good it is. The falafel is the best I’ve ever had, perfect little balls packing flavour! Some how SC is the only place that can make these without being dry AF. Grape leaves are THEE perfect fresh bite of dill, lemon, mint, and dripping olive oil. Za’atar manakesh, damn– bursting with herb flavour… literally it’s smothered in spices. Chicken shawarma wrap is always a classic favourite of mine too, the perfect handheld lunch imo. Eat here, give them support, and have a happy full belly, and a bonus food coma.

It’s been almost 8 years since the last time I had the REAL Shawerma sandwich 100% and that was in Syria. I’ve almost tried all Arab restaurants in Buffalo City, yet I never could enjoy or even say that I got Shawerma because they all made it look and taste like the regular chicken breast sandwich!! HOWEVER, I was amazed today when I tried the “Saj Chicken Shawerma” at this restaurant. I can finally say that I kinda ate shawerma sandwich ~ like 70%. Using the saj bread was a very good improvement that gave it yummy taste, thank you!!! I also like how it was served with strips of the pickled gherkins.

While I did not get the finely chopped shawarma as I get in India, it was still a good shawarma. Being mostly oil-free was a nice surprise. They did not mix veggies and chicken thoroughly but segregated them (yes, within the wrap!). It was a bit unexpected and interesting.
