We were immediately greeted by someone I can only assume is the new manager. He is very friendly and verbose. I’ve always liked eating at La Madeleine, but I typically would avoid this location because I hate feeling like I’m in a cafeteria line. Although it’s still set up that way, it helped to have better service than previously. The food was delicious as usual.

I was greeted as soon as I came into the cafe. The associate taking my order, Angie, was very friendly and helpful. She and Lizzy expressed deep regret that the French toast was no longer offered when I showed them the picture from Google reviewers.

SUCH a cute place! The strawberry Nutella crepes were phenomenal and the product variety was so cool to see! Very nice and educational atmosphere. The French onion soup could’ve been served hotter but it was yummy anyways, and the coffee was delicious.

The French Dip is always good. Au jus soften up the bread very nicely. The bread itself, is soft enough. The au jus does add a little more flavor to the sandwich.

This was my fist time eating here. In town visiting friends. The food and atmosphere is amazing here. The customer service was great. They have a great variety of food and desserts. If you want a quick lesson in French pop in the bathroom for a quick treat. Lots of fun. I would definitely visit again or if you are in the San Antonio area pop in for a while! Be sure and try the bread and jam..who else had a Sound of Music moment??!!??

Pretty good fast French food. Lots of popular favorites on the menu. I got the half quiche Lorraine, Caesar salad, and French onion soup. The chicken friand (like a pastry slab pie, with chicken filling in mushroom sauce) looked great, the croque madame take looked good, and chicken Madeline sandwich too. It’s walk-up ordering, and if what you ordered needs to be made fresh, they will bring it to your table.

We had the absolute best experience here this evening. We have never been, and the manager was so accommodating and kind. The food came out absolutely perfect, which never happens anywhere! We had 2 orders of the Croque Madame with Caesar Salad on the side, and our son had a grilled cheese/tomato soup and Caesar salad. Simple, but executed perfectly. Even our eggs were cooked correctly. This manager went above and beyond to make our experience special. Highly recommend.

I’m in love with la Madeleine’s nouveau breakfast. It’s simply eggs, bacon, and avocado toast, and it hits the spot. This was my first visit to this location and it was well maintained. All the staff was friendly and helpful. It was a quiet and comfortable spot to get breakfast.
