We went there for the first time with friends on a Friday evening and had a blast. The atmosphere was exciting, service wonderfully accomadating, the food delicious, and the seating open and plentuful. They made my wife a taco salad, and I had shrimp fajitas. Pricing was great with nice portions, and we will be back again.

1st time stopping in Glad we did the food was great we had chips & salsa of course I had caldo de Cameron & sopa GF had chimichangas then we split churro platter chocolate & strawberry it had a nice environment the waitress was great

This place is truly authentic Mexican. They have pupusas on tuesdays and Wednesday’s so I went for two of those. They were good and filling but definitely not the star of the show. Though the cabbage salad that came with them was surprisingly good and had lots of vinegar which I loved! The star, to no one’s surprise, are the tacos. I mean they were simply phenomenal. We got the quesabirria one which is our favorite (probably because it’s fried) followed by the Rajas. The rajas was surprisingly good and flavorful for being vegetarian. Lastly we tried the arrachera, can’t say that one was my favorite but still good. The large margarita is $6 and is huge. Can’t say it’s the best flavor but definitely worth the money because it is STRONG! The chips and salsa are yummy and fresh, not sure what’s in the salsa but it looks deep red almost like it had adobo or is charred/smoked. Beware the salsa verde has a kick to it. Our server did not speak English but we made it work with much smiling and pointing. The check can be paid at the front counter. Will go again with my husband who loves tacos!

If you are looking for special family owned restaurant, look no further! Everyone was friendly and the service was exceptional. Their tacos are by far some of the best we have had in Goshen so far! Everything is made fresh and we would highly recommend trying the Al Pastor or their top notch Shrimp tacos. They will change your life!

I went here with a friend this Friday. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, and glad I did. Definitely the best Mexican food I’ve had around here. The salsa was really good as well. It’s also very clean there. I highly recommend Castaneda’s!!! My friend is pretty critical about quality as well, and he was quite impressed lol!
