What a delightful place! There were 5 of us in our dinner party and we chose to order 9 of the tapas plates. All of the offerings were very beautifully prepared and presented, and quite generous portions! Each dish had a unique and layered flavor profile, and we truly savored each one. The green Gazpacho soup was the best gazpacho we have ever had, not to be missed if it is on the menu when you go! We also appreciated the attention to the small details. The olive oil served with the bread was fragrant and had a very good flavor. We were given a nice dish of various olives when we first sat down. All of our cocktails were well crafted and tasty, and the wine selection was great. We sat outside in the lovely covered patio area, it was pretty and peaceful. Our server was excellent, so informative and pleasant! If you are in Rehobeth, you will not find a better spot for a truly enjoyable meal, do not be fooled by the non descript look of the building, everything inside, from the decor to the food to the service is well thought out and topnotch!

A Gem in Rehoboth dining! Such delicious dishes and tapas. Drinks by David are amazing! Make reservations in busy times but be sure to stop by. Love ❤️

We have been going here annually for years, every time we’re in RB for our family beach week. The food rivals any tapas place we’ve visited, the drinks are excellent, and the desserts are a must. The staff are super hospitable and friendly, and the atmosphere is cosy and relaxing (but lively, depending on how busy it is). Make reservations on open table and mark your calendar for a real dining treat!

We were looking for a new restaurant to try in RB. Based on descriptions, we decided to try Cafe Azafran which offers daily specials. Tuesday evening is tapas specials, which included delicious gnocchi made with spinach and ricotta. Mussels seemed to be a popular item on the tapas menu. Be careful to those with shellfish allergy. My eyes were watering as tables in the front of the restaurant are placed very close together. From the regular menu, we ordered the duck breast. It was absolutely scrumptious, cooked medium well (no undercooked poultry for me!) and the beet salad was perfect. We highly recommend Cafe Azafran and have already told several friends.

Cafe Azafran is an absolute gem in Rehoboth. My wife and I ordered a few tapas with sangria and everything was wonderful – the chef is obviously quite creative.

Stopped here for a drink and dessert before the comedy club. Loved every single thing, including the owner behind the bar. My martini was perfect and the carrot cake was too.

We loved the atmosphere and service at Cafe Azafran. We loved the shrimp appetizer. My wife ordered the vegetarian plate. It was gigantic, beautiful and very tasty. The presentation was excellent. I prefer American cuisine style meats. They had pork but I ordered the T-bone steak. It had very good mashed potatoes, mushrooms and asparagus. The steak was 16 ounce and tasted great but I feel the filet side was tender but the NY Strip side had too much gristle and hard to cut and chew.

Such an enjoyable place for a casual dinner. We enjoyed pan seared duck breast as the main course and a side of spinach ricotta gnocchi and beef short rib Burris tacos. Wow! We can’t wait to go back!

The tapas were very solid, each having a unique character and distinct flavor. My favorites were the scallops, and the sliders, which were juicy and caramelized. The rest was good, but less memorable. The portions are large, preferably for sharing my 3 or 4 people.

Food was good, we sat outdoor in the screen room. Was a bit hot and flies landed on our food. Preferred to sit indoor but they said they were booked so they didn’t want to pull 2 small tables for 5 peoples. We were there at 5p on a Wed, only 1 table was taken. We stayed bc we were in a rush to be elsewhere later. Don’t like their services. However our waitress was nice. We know the area well, on Friday thru Sunday it will be difficult to get dinner without reservations but definitely not on the weekdays. But to be fair their food was good so 3 stars.
