Stopped by on National Taco Day since my work is less than a mile away and had two supreme shredded steak tacos. I’m glad I only ordered two because if I’d gotten three I would have eaten them all and ended up in a food coma for the rest of the day. Great flavors and quick service, so I’ll certainly be back!

SO DISAPPOINTED. I have stopped here several times on my way through town. I live 5.5 hours away from Lino Lakes and try to make a stop each time I travel through if I am able. I have always recommended this restaurant to family and friends, but I will NO LONGER be doing this. I stopped in last weekend, purchased a few things to go, and waited at least 30 minutes for a large order of chips and queso and 2 elotes. I did not check the bag prior to leaving, and further down the road noticed I had received no queso at all. Not only did I have a long wait and incorrect order, but someone on the staff stole my money as well. I did not write in the tip amount on the receipt, so someone on their staff did so FOR ME. I was charged over double the price my receipt says. Upon calling to bring this up, the person on the phone disconnected the call. I am so disappointed in this establishment and will never be returning.

Jay and I are having date night again at one of our most favorite places. We have been coming here for years. We’ve watched people grow up here, we have seen people come in and out, but we have never been disappointed. The food is amazing. The family atmosphere is great and it is one of the most fabulous places in Lino Lakes!

If you haven’t been here you’re missing out! The Esquites is an explosion of flavor that just doesn’t stop. Steak and shrimp meal was perfectly cooked as well as the Chipotle Burrito. The staff is attentive, quick, and on top of their game. Show this place your appreciation and go have a good time!

The first time I went here, I ate inside. I was like “Oh Wow I think I found a really Great place!” The food tasted GREAT! Portions were smaller than other real Mexican places. So I would give it 4 1/2 stars that time. I live by Monticello so it is a hour and some to get there. This time I ordered to go. My Daughter lives 15 minutes away from here. This time was REALLY BAD! My Chimichanga was not even deep fried or crispy on the outside. The meal was 2 Chimichanga’s and side beans and rice. I minus the rice. The Chimichanga’s were made out of small soft shells. I ordered a Chile Relleno too. It was under cooked and you couldn’t cut the pepper with your fork. My Daughter picked hers up and tried to bit it off and she couldn’t even bit it. Same for my other Daughter’s Chile Relleno. Plus she never got her rice or beans with her meal of 2 Chile Relleno’s. I was going to give a zero stars, but it was good before. So I gave it 2 stars, because I know you can do better than this if you wanted too! You just don’t care about out orders. We would have came in but we had a baby and 2 kids sleeping in the van. We could have done Taco Bell on the way home from our trip, but we wanted good food and kids were sleeping so we could go out of our way a bit for it! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

I am a lover of Mexican food, and I have tried quite a few places around the twin cities. I’m a fan of this one! I normally go for lunch so I am not speaking on their busiest times, but the employees are good at checking up on you and the food comes out in a reasonable time. As for quality, I love their tacos! I found this little hidden treasure, and have eaten here 3 times in the last month. Their food is soooooo good. The only place since Chi-Chi’s to make me ground beef taquitos! I have had their fajitas, fajita taco salad, and tacos. Everything has been delicious. El loro has nothing on this place. Or any of the other mexican places in the area! Please don’t ever close, or change too much!
