After placing my order and standing up waiting for twenty mins while they fixed all the drive through orders the cashier takes another ten mins to tell me that they are closing soon and can’t fix my order but the worker ordered the same thing after me and received her full plate. I generally liked Southfield but after this poor customer service and not to mention I will not receive a refund for my order until ten business days I was disgusted but funny how two older white customers came right in as she was saying to me they were out of food and about to close sat down and was allowed to order even greeted and waited on. The bias attitude and disrespect was enough for me not to return. But I will show up if my $23.97 is not refunded to my card soon.

AWESOME! I mean it was soooooo good. Got the Catfish, Mac and cheese, green beans, cornbread also the Pork tenderloin, butter beans, Mac and cheese, and greens. I don’t live in Louisiana,but visit here 2 to 3 times a year and ALWAYS try and stop here. Again, AWESOME and delicious.

Busy place this morning. The waitress was stressed and rushed taking our order which stressed me. The biscuits were so-so, not homemade like I hoped. The chicken fried steak, although it was the frozen kind, was just what I needed! Hasbrowns were ok. Lots of noise in the front room, but quieter in the back. The back toilet was a mess and the front one smelled but was at least clean. Would return again.

Typically food is decent. Yet, today’s (Sept 2022) beef tips was tough, yams looked pureed, and mac & cheese was just ok. Even entire plate looked uninviting.
