Benjamin’s opened in 1996 by Ben and Peggy Bruns. Originally a summer restaurant, the building was renovated in 1997 into seven private dining rooms that were open year round.
In 2007, Benjamin’s underwent another major renovation. This included an enlarged kitchen, adding indoor/outdoor versatility to the bar, and the introduction of “Jamin’s,” an outdoor dining area including a fire pit, bocce court, and gazebo stage. In 2011, the awning area became a permanent pavilion with removable walls for al fresco dining in seasonable weather.
In 2019, Benjamin’s came under new ownership and continues to offer delicious food, a rich atmosphere, and excellent service.

First time visiting here! We had the Pittsburgh steak salad and chicken bruschetta panini. Everything was wonderful and delicious, we didn’t have long of a wait either for our food to come out. They offer inside and outside seating which was also nice.

I had my bridal shower here and it was absolutely phenomenal! The food was great, the patio area was beautiful, and the waitress was so friendly and accommodating. Would definitely recommend booking here for a party or event! Will return again for dinner sometime with my husband after we get married!!

7/23: Booked for a large family event and had to pre-choose 5 items from the menu to order from, which makes little sense since you still don’t know what everyone is ordering… Seated outside in a cute covered space but stunned there were no fans; temperature easily hit over 100 degrees. Our server (didn’t get her name) was absolutely amazing and made the whole process seamless, if not outright easy.

Best place in Indiana for quality food. Highly recommend the Chicken Romano and Mahi Mahi when it’s on the menu. The only downfall is if they’re busy or short staffed, you might wait over an hour for your food like we did yesterday, otherwise 5 stars

We are about 3 months into traveling the country and we were just talking about how we hadn’t really had any food better than mediocre in a long time. We were staying about 30 minutes away and needed to come into town for an errand and gas and found Benjamin’s on Google. It was such a gem to stumble upon. We opted to sit in the bar since the restaurant looked quiet and we have 2 littles. Bar has over 10 regular tables.. 2 tops and 4 tops. If it didn’t look like rain, the patio is so lovely and we would have opted for service outside. Service was great. Our server was so pleasant and patient with our kids. Food was delicious!! We had the chicken parmesean and banging shrimp pasta. Kids had the penne and pasta. Definitely recommend for food, service and atmosphere!!

The interior of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful! We were located in near the back patio/bar area and the atmosphere was so cozy. Our waitress was very courteous and explained the menu options well. I recommend the maple bourbon salmon, I’ve never had anything like it before! Such an explosion of flavor in each bite.

Such a cute place! The atmosphere is nice on the inside and like a little garden party on the outside. We all enjoyed our food. The chicken marsala was fantastic! We also had the stuffed banana peppers for the appetizer that so good! The drinks and staff were awesome too!
