As always, Shogun does not disappoint. Had to wait a bit till a Hibachi table was ready, but it was worth it. If you don’t want vegetables with your meal, they give you an extra portion of fried rice, which I’m grateful for. Had a good show, and chefs were nice and playful. Interior was a bit lacking, but it didn’t really bother me. Would absolutely recommend it if you’re celebrating something or are just dining in a large group, but they do also have single and double tables, so it’s fine for any sized group.

Our visit tonight was off.. I have noticed when busy the quality of service goes down here. This place has always been a favorite of mine.. but the quality has gone down for me. The sushi is the best part about the restaurant.

Host would not seat us until entire party arrived. This is a trend that I really dislike. I could appreciate it if the restaurant was full, but it was at considerably less than half capacity. We had 4 of 6 present, so it would not have effected table count had they seated us and offered drinks and appetizers. We didn’t wait long for our stragglers and were seated immediately when they arrived.

Be prepared to pay double for lunch if your party is under 4. Even though our Hibachi table was full my husband and myself had to pay the dinner price. The lady whom I’m assuming is the manager/owner checked on every WHITE person around except my husband and I. I was not rude or disrespectful at any time. We even stayed after finding out EVERYONE but us got to pay the lunch price for their food. I’m not going to state the obvious here, but I can say I won’t be back.

First time being here with my whole family. (mom dad brother’s uncle aunt grandma etc.)The workers are very nice and the food was AMAZING! The workers are very funny if you get the hibachi table, they really engage with the guests and do very cool tricks. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice kid-friendly restaraunt.

food was good, but a roach landed on my arm in the middle of the meal. unbelievable to have a $150 meal and this happen in the middle. they should have comped my food, and they’re lucky i didn’t tell everyone in the restaurant after it happened.
