Holy M’Olio this place is great! Interior was gorgeous and the food was top shelf! Largest Martini I ever did see, and the asparagus were the size of mini trees! Only downside is our kind server seemed to have the entire back room, which made it feel like many tables couldn’t get her attention.

What a fantastic first experience dining at Olio! I’ve got to say everything from the appetizers to our main course we’re perfect and tasted absolutely wonderful. Our server, Candace did an amazing job as well as the rest of the staff!! We will certainly be back with more friends.

We took our family out for new years dinner. Terrible service…food came before drinks or utensils. I had to go and ask for them. No cutlery/napkins had to ask for them. The food was disappointing at best. Steak worse than publix. Sea bass was a tiny filet. When i talked to the manager he was rude/unoplogetic. Completely ruined our dinner experience. Will not be coming back.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, and the experience was quite disappointing. I had reserved a table for 4 inside. It was a nice evening and there were many empty tables outside. So we asked the host if we could be seated outside instead. We were told that they reserved tables separately inside and outside and really didn’t like to switch between. Despite the absurdity with so many empty tables, we said it was OK – we’d sit inside. We were seated in a small back room with 4 tables. We were the only party in there the whole time. The music was too loud, and a rather bizarre mix of opera, pop, etc. The server took our drink orders and got 2 of them wrong. When serving the drinks, rather than placing them on the table, she held them in midair until we took them from her hand, it being obvious she didn’t plan to put them down. We then said we wanted order some appetizers. We were told we could not, we had to place our entire order all at once, or the kitchen would get confused. What? We had not yet decided on entrees, so we asked for some bread while we drank our drinks and continued looking over the menu. Nope – we don’t have any bread. This is an Italian restaurant, mind you! No bread? Nothing! Still, we didn’t fuss. Our apps came, after we were already into our second round of cocktails, and ravenously hungry by this point. Two of us loved our entrees, the other two thought theirs were so-so. By that point we’d had enough “fun” and decided to skip dessert and coffee. Good thing! When the bill came, we almost fell off our chairs. Dinner with tip came to over $100 pp. Outrageous for what we got. My advice to management is simply this: If you’re wondering why your restaurant is half empty on a Saturday night, peak hour, in season, when every other restaurant in Delray is packed, see above! Sorry – I don’t usually write such long reviews, but this was an exceptionally bad experience, and have no plan to return here. Too bad. Warning to others – steer clear!

Such a fun time here! Cocktails at the bar before dinner. The atmosphere is really cool with a local vibe. I’m from New Orleans and it reminded me a bit of the French quarter with brick walls, crystal chandeliers and gas lanterns. Blackened mahi was delicious. Will go back again!

Regular menu is waaay over priced. The food was not good, except the bruschetta. The crunchy tuna roll was deep fried (not tempura) and had cream cheese in it. The fish tacos were blackened Mahi Mahi. All the doors and windows were open and the street traffic was loud, even on a Sunday afternoon. Service was outstanding though and the decor has a South Beach vibe.

As another reviewer here noted, I wish I could give Olio zero stars. It was truly bad everything. So where to start. Our rez was at 7:45 and we were not seated until 8. Not bad. We sat outside and tables are very close together and not socially distanced at all. Now the atrocious experience began.

Went with a large group and they were unable to separate checks when they assured us they could and every other restaurant can with ease. Service was good but got testy at the end. Food was marginal. 15 of us spent $1700 not worthy of the cost

What a super fun bar! It’s inside but open to the outside. The chandeliers are what pulled me to this bar! We have been a few times and somehow we gravitate to the same items: grilled calamari, the crabmeat salad, and the awesome sushi roll. They have a super wine menu. A lot of locals seem to frequent the bar because the bartender knew everyone that walked up. I can’t wait to try the teriyaki salmon…
