Established in 1946. Originally owned by two brothers from Italy, the brothers split off to open King of Pizza and Joe’s Drive in Pizzeria. The King of Pizza is no longer around but the best thin crust pan pizza in NJ can still be found at Joe’s. In February 2021, Joe’s was rebranded and is now known as “Joe’s Famous Pizza”. Joe’s provides pickup or delivery.

Cash only. There is always plenty of parking, the pizza is fresh and Joe’s has been my “quick” stop when I have a pizza craving I had the Sicilian slice extra hot and last time it was a pie to go. The dough, sauce and cheese blended perfectly.

I’ve been eating at Joe’s for 50+ years! It’s my favorite and there is no pizza restaurant that can compare. Brings back great memories of going with Dad to pick up pizza. Dad is no longer with us but Joe’s always gives me good memories of him and our pizza outings.

Wow This Is #Jersey Gem Located In The Vauxhaul Union NJ Area ! Joes Famous Pizza !!! The Pizza is A1 Top Tier pizza Dave Portnoy even rated them 7.9 I think he’s an 8.4 Solid in my book pizza is amazing Chicken Parm Sandwhich is off the meters too solid 8.1 I recommend coming here ! He’s closed on Monday’s though and it’s CASH ONLY about worth every dollar and Joe The Owner is Great Guy who has a lot of history just ask him !

Went to Joe’s for the first time tonight. Won’t be the last time! We shared mussels marinara for an appetizer then a sausage and mushroom pie. DELICIOUS! The crust on the pie was fantastic. Special shout out to our server Gerry who was welcoming and super nice!

Don’t let the atmosphere rating fool you. This place is reminiscent of the pizza parlours of the 70s and 80s! While I love that, I know that snooty people would be turned away! For those people, I say order this delicious food and eat it at your house.

Can’t believe that I have been going here for years and never wrote a review about the place. Sorry Joe I’m in love with their pizza!! Very unique compared to all others in the area. Their crust, sauce and cheese combo is a winner, hands down. The other food they serve is very good as well, so you can’t go wrong. Go get you some!

I brought my pizza tour to Joe’s Famous Pizza today. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed and very well taken care of. The pizza was as good as advertised, flaky crust with plenty of fresh grated mozzarella cheese to the edges. The shrimp and Garlic pie was a great compliment to the plain pies we ordered. A very unique pizza experience, we will be back. You gotta check this place out!
