Dirty table but I’ve only been here once. They closed the dining room before 8pm. People were trying to get in before 8pm. The manager locked the doors before 8. I think 8pm is still too early to close the dining room. They should close it at 10pm in my opinion.

Usually this place is decent but tonight was no good… I tried ordering a side of pickles but I was not able to and I wasn’t given a reason why… The person taking my order act like she couldn’t hear me and she had a I don’t care attitude… Then she got my friend order wrong… He ordered chicken strips and mashed potatoes on the side… He got big old crispy chicken .. I got the #17 just threw my stuff in the bag and they have me a lot of sporks and no cookie … It comes with the meal… The service bad the food wasn’t tasty… Maybe it was an off day… I guess it depends on who’s taking your order… It’s ok but be careful and keep your order simple…

I’m giving this establishment a 1 star rating due to the fact they refused me service due to the fact I had my service animal with me and he wasn’t wearing his vest. In accordance with California state law and the American Disability Act my service animal is not required to wear a vest, or wear anything that defines him as a service animal. In fact, I do not need to show my service dog certificate either, although I attempted to show the manager but he refused to look at it. Continuing to yell at me in front of other employees and customers demanding I leave because my animal was not wearing his vest. Although I was embarrassed, humiliated, and infuriated, I still remained calm and attempted to educate the manager about the laws but he refused to hear anything I was saying to him. He threatened to call the Oxnard Police Department if I did not exit the restaurant with my animal. Mind you during this whole confrontation I was not rude and I did not raise my voice. I quietly left the restaurant when I realized this man is not going to budge and the situation would escalate if I wasn’t the bigger person and choose to walk away. I did call the Better Business Bureau when I exited the restaurant and filed a complaint. By California state law and by the ADA, a business is only allowed to ask 2 questions when an animal is brought into any business not pet friendly. Those 2 questions are 1.) Is your animal a service animal? 2.) What tasks does your animal perform?

Normally I would go for Popeyes chicken BUT lately KFC has stepped up their game! These 2 new sandwiches are amazing! I could totally see the Double Down Chicken Sandwich at a posh LA restaurant served on a fancy plate & being charged $$$ it was moist, crispy, juicy & delicious! The Bacon & Cheese Chicken Sandwich was just as delicious the addition on pickles added flavor & another layer of crunch. 3/10/23

As stated with everyone else… please save your money and try another KFC. This KFC always misses a piece of my order, first time I let it slip because I didn’t get a receipt to call back (and didn’t feel like googling them.) And then here I go again, I pay extra for extra biscuits and get home to find no extra biscuits!!! I finally called to let them know that this wasn’t the first time they messed up my order… as the manager says that he will have biscuits and a side order ready for me to pick up…. so now I have to waste my gas to go pick up my paid order that wasnt given rught to me the first time????? Please always ask for the receipt as the manager told me that “people get mad when they are given a receipt. ” Like reallly??? I don’t think so, more like you don’t want corporate knowing all the mistakes that happen here hourly…. sounds like their afraid of people submitting their surveys of bad service and customers not receiving their complete orders!!!!

Their prices are getting expensive for 8 pcs chicken. It used to be no more than $20. Now their prices for 8 pcs is now what it used to be 12 or 14 pcs. The coleslaw container has also changed it seems the contents have gone smaller.
