In 1996, when Restaurant Ramirez first opened its doors, our goal was & always has been to bring Southern Connecticut the same great taste our relatives gave us. We are a family owned and operated business dedicated to treating you like family. Our homemade seasonings originated from our ancestors who lived in a little town in Dominican Republic called Jarabacoa where every meal was prepared with the freshest ingredients combined with our special seasonings. I always enjoy their cafeteria-style takeout back in the day. In 2015, the 1 meat, rice, beans was $6.50, then $7 in 2018. In 2023, it’s $11 per combo, now includes 1 canned soda. (Due to COVID-19, everything increased in cost.)
