We were looking forward to a very nice evening out for dinner. We had the misfortune of choosing Steak 89 for our dinner. The meatballs were frozen with a little bit of jar sauce over them, and they were not even warm. We thought the ribeye steak special sounded fantastic and we’re so excited to order it. The steak was over cooked, and it was as thin as a McDonald’s hamburger. They served guacamole on the side as a sauce, and the potatoes were extremely greasy. Their prices are outrageous , and I could’ve had a better meal at Burger King. If you are visiting Sedona, do not eat here! We even told the concierge’s desk at our hotel to absolutely do not recommend this place.

Came here for a nice dinner on our final night in Sedona. It was a quiet night, not crowded, good service, steak was good. My friends was a little undercooked for her liking but overall great atmosphere. Some previous reviews noted a sewage smell but we did not experience that.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Steakhouse89. The food was great (highly recommend the lamb and the calamari, as well as giving the house wine a try) in great ambiance. The server was very accommodating and management took a very active interest in making sure we had a great time – as a group of 7 no less. Definitely looking forward to returning here.

Overall, it is good quality food. Quite pricy for the dishes we received. Six adults and two children without alcohol the bill was $540.00

So good. Yummy. Server hooked us up with mouth watering flavor explosions. Spinach Artichoke dip was fresh and authentic. Surf and Turf. Filet So tender. Shrimp plump. Asparagus seared correctly. Do you like blue cheese on your salad ? Its creamy but so many crumbles packed in. Just all around great experience. Thanks Dieter for stopping at the table.

Pretty disappointed to be honest. We had reservations for 1830 on a Saturday night and were seated right away. We looked over the menu and ordered within 5 minutes of sitting down. Onion rings were VERY greasy (more so then normal) the size of them made it hard to eat. Obviously you cut them up into bite size pieces and this made a lot of the breading soggy. We ordered the house salad and split it between between the two of us. It was okay. Something was off with the vinaigrette. Lastly I ordered a ribeye (medium rare) and my wife ordered fillet mignon (medium). After waiting 55 minutes from the time we ordered to receiving our steaks mine was way over cooked (medium well to well done) my wife was perfectly cooked. No way I was asking for another steak. Didn’t want to wait another 30 plus minutes. Overall for the price it seemed like the restaurant was stretching to be higher end but definitely lacked in some areas…

Based off other reviews I was very hesitant about keeping my reservation. We had a 600 reservation for Saturday. We were seated promptly and our server was so fun. I had prime rib and my partner had filet mignon. It was all cooked perfectly and everything came out beyond our expectations. We have been to quite a few expensive steakhouses and this was very good for the prices.

Dinner was ok, the lamb was very salty the mashed potatoes were ok the mac and cheese was kind of bland my husband had the ribeye steak and he said it was just ok, too much pepper, I ordered a gin martini and it was too watered down the ceasar salad was dry but my burrata salad was the best part of dinner. The service was there but it wasnt the best. Restaurant was overpriced for what it was after hearing from everyone that this was the best place in town we were let down. The only reason I’m giving this 3 stars is because there was a singer that played very well and sang the songs just right, he made our night otherwise the rating would be lower.

First time visit for the wife and I. Had a 7:00pm reservation, was sat immediately and greeted within minutes by our attentive waiter.
