Wonderful diner! There are only 15 seats inside, but service is fast so you won’t wait long. We loved our meals. The caramelized grapefruit was a real treat!

Incredible breakfast, great staff. Definitely worth the visit, and experience. Everything is very classic American diner food, but close to perfected. Most people can do a good breakfast, and have elaborate over the top menus (which I enjoy), but Palace Diner smashes the classics. Small, 10-12 seat~ diner, so it’s a hot contender to get there. Was lucky the other day; happy I visited. One of the best French Toasts I’ve had yet, almost didn’t need maple syrup.

Absolutely the best place for breakfast IT IS A MUST. They are known for their palace potatoes and they surely are delicious (dip them in maple syrup you won’t regret it)! I got French toast and they are massive and heavenly!!! They have super friendly staff and they have cute merchandise. Soak up the history in this place 🙂

Stopped on the way back from Portland. Not a bad wait- 15 minutes. I got the chicken sandwich, my wife got a tuna melt. Can’t believe I finished it! It was so good; best tuna melt!! Nice people, fun atmosphere, add it to your must-eat here list when visiting Americas Vacationland!

Stopped here for breakfast after seeing the spot on Somebody Feed Phil and I was blown away. Their fryer was down so they had an extremely limited menu, but I was not disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I’ve ever had. As someone who has had an aversion to tuna most of my life, my mind was blown by how good the tuna sandwich was.

Man, oh man… the Palace Diner. I’ve finally experienced the hype and it certainly has lived up to it! This place has been on my list for years but my job, travel schedule and tourist season never really aligned with the right time to go… until today! I need to start off with their service. Their service was EXCELLENT. Beyond friendly, quick and accommodating— far exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing. Their flapjacks were light, fluffy, FLAVORFUL and the whipped butter sealed the deal. The menu is small, but everything they do is handmade and FRESH. Great portions. I cannot wait to go back and try one of everything. Other logistics to keep in mind: they do offer take-out/online ordering if you don’t want the full diner bar-top experience, but want to try the food. We will likely do takeout for busier days now that we’ve had the full experience. They also will take your name if there is a wait and text you— that was nice for a rainy day to sit in the car and drool over the menu. There is usually a wait. So come early, put your name in and walk around Biddeford! There is no room to wait inside. They are also CASH ONLY (with an ATM outside). And finally, parking is street parking only— during peak times allow for a bit of extra time to loop around once or twice. All-in-all…. Add it to your list. This was one helluva breakfast!!

We waited an hour and a half and it was absolutely worth it. Staff were friendly and happy to serve us even after being busy all day. Food was incredible. Just a little patience will do the trick!

The food was great and the setting is really cute. Its “cash only” but there is an atm conveniently right outside the diner. Flapjacks were soldout when we got there unfortunately but we were still happy with our options.
