I love Sargento’s! The wait staff are polite and I’ve never had to wait to be seated. I always get the Tacos Al Carbon and they are delicious! Their wings are really great, too. I sometimes get those to-go for lunch.

Slow service. The place didn’t appear to be that busy. Seated for 10 minutes before chips and salsa were brought by someone not waiting tables. Our regular server after that made only two trips to our table – once for the order and once to deliver it. Had to get the attention of the manager to get a water refill. Never asked if there was anything we needed. Several servers standing around doing nothing while ours had three tables to take care of. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best. Some strange brown sauce leaking from the cheese enchiladas. Guacamole had pieces of lettuce in the mix. Rice was bland and beans were so-so. Definitely not on our revisit list.

Four out of five stars because first of all, no place is perfect, and since Carne Guisada is on their lunch menu, I thought it took a little longer to get the food than it should have. Other than that, a good experience here. They weren’t slammed, but it was a full house, Saturday dinner crowd. It wasn’t excessively noisy, and wait staff was attentive, did a good job. Manager was pleasant and courteous. The Guisada was as good as I’ve had anywhere.

Dinner for 3. Food was decent. Definitely not anything to brag about. Service was very slow and the restaurant was not busy. They had 4 waitresses and it took almost an hour to get our food.

The house special fajitas were excellent, with really good flavor, and normally I don’t eat the chicken but I ate theirs. The regular salsa was great, but ask for the green salsa it’s amazing and has so much flavor. The staff was very friendly and they got slammed since there was a basketball competition in Franklin and it was a Wednesday night. I’m sure they weren’t expecting to have every single table taken and huge groups but they handled it well.

If you’re looking for a nice clean Tex Mex restaurant with great food and an even better staff you found it. Went in for a late lunch around 3PM was greeted with a smile & seated almost instantly with a large tea along with warm chips & salsa. I ordered the Monterrey Chicken lunch special, the chicken was very flavorful & smothered with onions, bell pepper & loads of melted cheese (comes with mushrooms as well but I had them leave those off). The refried beans & spanish rice were a little on the bland side for me (not surprising knowing the area extremely well) but nothing a little salt & Cholula hot sauce couldn’t adjust for my palate. The platter was a decent amount of food especially for the price. My waitress (Tori or Lori? sorry not 100% sure, my fault) was epic! Extremely friendly, attentive, & kept checking to see if I needed anything just the right amount even offered to get me a to go cup of tea for the road. She did such a great job I basically gave her a 50% tip. The restaurant itself was very clean with the exception of a ceiling fan that could use a dusting (which is my ONLY minor complaint but that’s just my OCD), a great hidden gem in Franklin.

Dinner with 6 people. Overall food was good alright the presentation was not up to par. All of the burgers came with packets of condiments instead of on the burger itself. Also came with shredded cheese instead of sliced cheese. The beans were cold but the bean water was steaming. Almost as if they put the beans in hot water.

This is the BEST Mexican Restaurant ever in Franklin Tx. The food is so delicious and the salads are so fresh. We love the atmosphere, the owners are so polite and always attentive of making sure we are good. The waitresses and staff are always so cheerful and very well mannered. Love ❤️ the place.
