It’s been a great place to be throughout the pandemic. Makes life feel somewhat normal again. Good comfort food and great hospitality! I used to work in the city but since it shut down I’ve had to spend time in jersey. When I go out, this is one of the places I love being at. I sit, work on my projects and enjoy a delicious French toast.

Glad to see theres a dining area available again in the Center City Mall. That pizza shop up on the second floor was literally all they had to offer for a while. I stopped by the Downtown Grill (I like the name) today for lunch. They have a decent selection of menu items for breakfast lunch and dinner since they stay open fairly late. They have pastries and all else u would expect from a local eatery. The staff was quite friendly. I asked for a Cuban sandwich, which isnt a menu item and they made it for me with no problem. It was good too. The French fries are pretty unique. They fry them really hard and crunchy but they dont taste over cooked at all, flavorful too. I think it’s a lady they have on the grill, shes good. I may start grabbing breakfast from here on my way to work in the mornings. I like to support my community eateries. I’m a foodie so I love good food. This spot looks like it will be good for my routine.

Guy was rude must be having a bad day but I won’t come back to find out. Guy act like he didn’t want to take my order kept leaving the register in middle of conversation. Can I get a bagel with …. inturrpts oh no bagels then walks away / well do you have rolls yes walks away again – this continues then I asked if the muffin was fresh he responded with sarcasm I GIVE UP !!!
