Loved this pizzeria!! I was recommended by a friend from the gym to try this place and the service plus friendliness from the staff was fanstatic! I didn’t what I was going into from getting the pizza but it hits close to home from my time spent in NYC for the last 2 years. It’s very authentic to a NY slice and I’m honestly more than happy to find a local pizzeria that serves this kind of pizza. The only minor compliant I would say is the lack of salt for flavor, besides that it’s overall a delicious pie! I would 100% come back here again, as well recommend it to my friends!

For 29 Years Sals Pizza has been serving Stanhope.with authentic New York style Pizza. Out of the past 50 pizzerias that I have visited over the past 2 months, I have not seen anyone who has the passion for pizza like Sal. He came around the corner and talked the finer details that go into producing a great slice of pizza. It is Sal who shops for fresh ingredients to use every 3 days. It is Sal working to produce the best pizza possible. Also, judging by the items on the wall, Sals is a big supporter of the local community. The Authenticity is off the charts. Old school all the way.I can’t wait to go back to Sals.

3rd time I ordered a cheese steak and they still can’t get it right. It’s supposed to come with onions, peppers and mushrooms. I asked for hot peppers as well. It came only with hot peppers. No onions or mushrooms. This happened twice. This time I said with onions and mushrooms and hot peppers and it came with no peppers. Ugh!!!!
