A great hole in the wall sushi place we discovered when we were shopping in the area. The inside is nice and quaint, and the service was quite good.

It’s a shame I had the worst experience as a first and definitely last time customer. I’m sure the manager will read this and not really care because he didn’t even care to have the time to talk to me after I asked for him and was patiently waiting. I’m also sure the staff won’t change based on a review however I’ve worked as an employee for taking care of front of the house at a restaurant and never in my years would I ever treat a customer the way my family and I were treated. My cousins decided to take me out to eat for sushi for my birthday and we agreed on this place because it was new to us. We entered the restaurant and it was a smooth, it did take them a few minutes to realize we were ready for our food order to go to the chefs. After they took our paper another family arrived and their order was taken immediately. 25 minutes go by and mind you we ordered appetizers which should try to be pushed out as soon as they finish being made. Another family sits at the bar and they put the order in within 5 minutes they received almost all their appetizers (that I could see) and I was only observing because by then we were waiting for about 30 minutes just for appetizers. FINALLY the appetizers arrived and they were all cold. We asked the server if we could have them remade and he put the order in. Still waiting for even 1 of our rolls to come out still nothing however I see everyone around me getting all their food. At this point I almost wanted to leave but held it out hoping the sushi would be work the wait. Finally our rolls come on out and a few had delicious flavor how ever a lot of them did not compare to really good sushi I have had in the past. A server finally came to check on us about 30 minutes into us eating and she asked us how we were doing and I explained the situation how if I was being honest our experience was terrible and she offered us a discount and said she would talk to her manager and see if he could comp 1of the all you can eat charges and I told her if she could please do that. She came back and said the manager was too busy and all he could offer was 10% off I told her ok, is it ok if I still talked to him to explain how we are feeling, you know our experience was terrible. And she said she would let him know. A few minutes later a young man came up to us and asked if there was anything else we needed and I said no it’s ok I’m just waiting to speak to the manager and he tried to take control of the situation very aggressively saying he knew the situation and that all he could offer was the 10% and he would have to charge us $1 for every piece we didn’t eat. And the way he delivered the message did not sit right with any of us at the table. I then asked him “are you the manager “ and he responded with yes and I told him really? And he said “well I lead the front of the house” I looked at him and explained to him “you know we are already unhappy with the food and service here and you expect us to pay for the food that was not good? I’m disappointed with the lack of empathy from someone who is supposed to be leading a position that is all about customer service. Unfortunately the service alone will keep me away from here as well as giving an honest opinion to my friends and family. The sushi. Mid. Thank you for the birthday dinner however never again.

Moving here from San Diego left my standards of Sushi restaurants pretty high and most of the restaurants here have a hard time balancing cost to quality ratio. Kibo Sushi surprised me with their friendly service, quality, and taste. We definitely plan on becoming regular customers for sure. Bryan was an amazing server and helped us by fulfilling our Friday night dinner plans.

All you can eat! Great selection. Everything tasted really good and fresh. Every order came out pretty quick. Seemed like there was only one server for the whole restaurant. We had to keep calling him to order items.

New place. New experience. Walking in, you can feel the young new energy all throughout. The atmosphere is so inviting compared to the previous place, even though decor looks about the same. The sushi chefs are so nice, no matter how busy they are. Our server was very informed on all of the rolls. The menu is massive! They still have AYCE, but we opted for just a couple rolls and some salmon sashimi. The sashimi just MELTS in your mouth. So fresh and refreshing. The rolls were okay. The beef on the cowboy roll, was overcooked. I’d eat there again to try new rolls, but I won’t switch from our favorite spot.

We used to go here every Saturday. The food is amazing and the vibe is really comfy. However, there was a server who we’ve never seen before, a short young man who charged us for an extra roll just because we had a little patch of rice left on our plate. He was also rude about it so we haven’t been back since.

We order 3 AYCE & once we finish our 3rd round we order ice cream. We ask the server Cristin which type there was & she mentioned only “green tea” so we decided to get 2 orders. She comes back & mentioned they ran out of ice cream. We also place a order of rolls to go, while we waited the bus boy brought ice cream to table next to us!!! The server saw this & noddle her head to the bus boy. Couple of minutes later she returns to our table saying “oh there’s ice cream now..I’m getting you guys 2 scoops” We just grab the to go order & walk out. She has no integrity as a server or even as a person to falsely lie to the Customer. Management needs to promote better ethical workers. Definitely NOT reporting to this establishment!!!!
