The place itself is run down, not well kept or cleaned often. The equipment looks cheap, the food looks old or not fresh. They don’t provide many grocery items. This is more of a buffet style grocery store with nowhere to eat.

The area looked sketchy and I am still giving it 5 stars because the food was delicious and the employees were great. I went there 3 times on a five day trip.

Had the Yakamein and the Pig Feet and both were delicious! Will come back for more the next time I’m in town 🙂

Gumbo meat melts in your mouth – sausage & chicken. Cheap prices!

Large potatoes were not cooked, turkey necks needed seasoning. Staff was nice.

Great place! Small and family owned. I got the catfish poboy and 2lb of spicy crawfish. It’s takeout only. The prices are extremely reasonable and very pocket friendly.

The shrimp po boy was terribly dry and very old. I don’t recommend it.

Killer Catfish Po’ boy. This is what a Catfish Po’Boy is supposed to be. Delicious crispy catfish on a roll that isn’t all soggy and stuff. Well dressed, yet lively!

Have only had the Catfish Po’boy but it is excellent. The catfish is fried to perfection. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It is dressed with lettuce, tomato, pickles and mayo. There is no better Catfish Po’boy in the city.

A little out of the way, but good prices. The drinks are very cold, that’s a huge plus. I got a catfish poboy. Good portion size although I’m not completely sure it was catfish, it was fresh and hot and made to order.
