Hidden gem of a place! Our tummies and souls were filled with the delicious, home style food served. My personal favorites were the Mac N Cheese and the potato salad— yum! Also, very reasonably priced. 10/10 recommend!

Don’t sleep on Little Mac’s Smokehouse! This is – overall – the best barbecue I’ve had! We were driving from Austin to Houston and wanted some barbecue, and we stumbled on this hidden gem. Pulling up, it’s very unassuming, but when Little Mac pulls the meat you just ordered fresh off the smoker, you know he means business! We had the smoked turkey leg, mac-and-cheese, and the two-meat plate with brisket, ribs, potato salad, and green beans. The meat was so tender, and every bite was full of flavor! The brisket was fork tender and moist – but not fatty – and the ribs were the stuff of dreams! And, real talk, that potato salad was something special, too! I can’t rave about this place enough! I just wished we lived closer – I’d go back right now. Little Mac’s Smokehouse has definitely been put on our “Must Stop” List when driving from Houston to Austin. (Also, Little Mac and his son were so friendly, taking the time to walk us through everything! You have to love a family-owned and operated local business!)

Consistently outstanding Texas BBQ. A wonderful spot to sit outside and take a break on a road trip. His brisket grilled cheese sandwich is officially on my crave list. And his brisket is legit; super quality, needs nothing on it. Though his BBQ sauce with a hint of molasses is wonderful too. Love this place!

Mac and Connie got a great thing going here!!! Super friendly couple. I’m waiting in line and had conversation with some regulars that had nothing but great things to say! I can’t wait to come back and try different things. The brisket with the bbq sauce is going down as one of my favorite! I can’t wait to make another trip back.

Cannot recommend more. Passed by countless times and finally got around to going,should have stopped sooner. Brisket fell apart as I picked it up. Incredibly quick and friendly service,prices are great.
